Best 40 inch LCD TV of 2013

Our list of the best 40" LCD TVs is limited to the highly rated LCD TVs which have 40" - 50" screens. 40" LCD televisions today are high definition with a minimum resolution of 720p and use CCFL backlighting. It's worthwhile to know however that the inferior picture quality of an LCD TV is not the only reason they're less preferable than LED and Plasma TVs. They have a shorter lifespan and are much less energy efficient too.
