Most Acer projectors are DLP projectors which do not give as much colour saturation as an LCD projector. However they've got much less pixel visibility and smoother images.

To stretch out the life of your projector, it is advisable to opt for an LED model. These projectors use Light Emitting Diodes as a light source instead of conventional lamps which wear out rather quickly.
