  • The Brother MFC-J5720DW inkjet multifunction printer delivers decent speed and output quality. More importantly, it offers a low running cost and has the ability to print at up to 11 by 17 inches.

  • The Brother MFC-J5270DW has very flexible paper handling facilities and both business and photo features making it a versatile device. We found some problems with the print quality in
duplex copies and had some paper misfeeds. The default photo print mode is also surprisingly slow. These drop-offs can be worked around, though, and otherwise, this is a good business inkjet.

  • Let’s face it, there are a bunch of strong-performing business printers out there; choosing one isn’t easy. The good news is that as long as you keep your eye on the ink cost, most of them, including this MFC-J5720DW, should serve you well.

  • The Brother MFC-J4320DW inkjet multifunction printer delivers fast speed and the ability to print on manually fed tabloid-size (11-by-17-inch) paper.

  • While writing this review, I found this printer on sale for as little as $109, making it an even better value. Keep in mind, though, that this is essentially a low-volume printer. If you don’t plan to do a lot of scanning, the MFC-J4320DW might be the right multifunction printer for you.

  • The Brother MFC-L2740DW monochrome laser multifunction printer (MFP) is packed with advanced features and is suitable for use as a shared printer or for heavy-duty personal use.

  • The biggest strength of this inexpensive mono laser all-in-one is its handling of double-sided documents. (Its print costs are high, and the graphics printing isn’t up to snuff.)

  • The MFC-L2740DW is a good all-rounder, sensibly priced and not too expensive to run.

  • The Brother MFC-J885DW multifunction printer is packed with features, including an automatic document feeder and a duplexer, plus Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and NFC support.

  • The Brother MFC-L2720DW monochrome laser multifunction printer (MFP) can fit nicely as a heavy-duty personal printer or as a shared printer in a micro office.
