The product line of HP's color laser printers includes the LaserJet series and MFPs. Without compromising on the performance, HP's color laser printers offer you high quality prints along with considerably useful capabilities. These printers are easy to operate and can be run on lower operating costs. HP designs these printers to work using less resources like toner, and require less cleaning and maintenance. While printing in color, HP focuses on saving power using their Auto-On/Auto-Off technologies. Color printers from HP are available for users of all levels since they offer a wide range of costs for various featured devices.
The proprietary technologies used by HP in color laser printing are ImageREt, Color Access Control and Instant-on Technology.
HP's ImageREt technology is a multi-level color laser printing process that provides 2400 dots per inch (dpi). During this process, four colors are combined into a single dot by varying the amount of toner used. As a result, by combining 600 x 600 printer resolution, ImageREt produces smooth colors, sharp images and crisp text.
Color Access Control allows you to decide the color usage limit and Instant-on Technology saves time and power utilized by the printer to warm-up.
From small workgroups to fast-paced enterprises, HP color laser printers cater to different kinds of volume usage and different media types and sizes. For office use HP produces network-ready laser printers to share the same device across multiple users for efficient, rapid, secured and professional color printing of materials like wide format color documents and marketing materials.
HP has released two color LaserJet series of printers: LaserJet Pro and LaserJet Enterprise. Most of these easy-to-operate printers deploy the ePrint technology, which allows you to print documents from anywhere by sending an email of the file to be printed directly to your printer. LaserJet color printers print at a speed of 42 pages per minute (ppm) having a print resolution of 1200x1200 dpi with a monthly duty cycle of 120000 (HP recommends 10000 monthly print volume). HP's LaserJets are designed to work on wireless networking (selected models) and some of them support auto 2-sided printing.
Color LaserJet MFPs:
HP's color LaserJet MFP's perform the functions of printing, scanning, copying and faxing. These printers utilize web apps from HP for efficient functioning of these operations. Also, most of these multifunction printers have 3.5" color touch screen with a printing speed of 21 ppm, print resolution of 600x600 dpi and a scan resolution of 600 dpi (color).
