  • The Dell UltraSharp U2913WM is s unique 29-inch ultra-widescreen monitor offering a 21:9 aspect ratio and solid IPS color and grayscale quality but it may not be the best choice for gamers.

  • We really like the U2913WM, and we wish that the U2713HM had followed the same design. Sadly, it looks like the upcoming U2413 and U2713H are following with the old look.

What's rather spectacular about the U2913WM, though, is the price â?? at AU$599, it's enough that people will be asking if they want a 27-inch with the extra 360 vertical pixels, or if 21:9 is in their future.

  • Dell goes ultra-wide with its UltraSharp U2913WM monitor, which combines sterling image quality with a novel 21:9 aspect ratio.

  • The Dell S2740L is a beautifully crafted 27-inch IPS monitor with a reasonable price tag. It's a solid performer that doesn't use much power, but its glossy screen can be mirror-like.

  • The Dell S2740L has some good things going for it. Its IPS panel gives it a wide viewing angle, its glossy screen helps to give photographic images depth, and its LED backlighting conserves some energy and space. The fairly low resolution might be desirable for some people, but it makes screen elements too large for me to want to use the S2740L as a desktop-computing screen.

    - Movies on the Dell looked great thanks to the display's deep blacks and colors that look full and natural in the Movie preset.

  • The Dell UltraSharp U2711 display is a high end LCD monitor designed specifically for consumers interested in professional quality output. The UltraSharp U2711 unit is a 27" screen with a 2560 X 1440 resolution and a 1.75 inch deep IPS panel.

  • The Dell UltraSharp U2711 lives up to its name and displays an excellent array of colors. While it may have some trouble with the dark grays this monitor makes up for that in its numerous features and keeping a good track record, as far as Dell's go.

  • The Dell UltraSharp U2410 is a feature-rich monitor that performs great while watching movies and playing games.

  • The Dell UltraSharp U2410 is a 24â?? flat panel LCD computer monitor. The display is fully HD compatible, due to its 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution. The aspect ratio of the U2410 is set at 16:10, meaning it's capable of displaying widescreen video content while still maintaining enough vertical space to be useful for productivity applications and web browsing.

  • The only way to get better quality than the Dell UltraSharp U2410 is to spend a lot more money -- if you need a 24-inch, are on a budget but still need great quality images, we can wholeheartedly recommend this screen.

  • The Dell UltraSharp U2311H is a mid-range 23 inch monitor. This is identical to the 21.5 inch Dell UltraSharp U2211H, with the only difference being the size. The 1920x1080 resolution displays in a 16:9 aspect ratio, and the stand allows for easy tilting and swivel.

  • Considering its price, no one has an excuse any more to buy a second-rate TN panel. While it hasn't been given the same attention to detail in colour accuracy as the 2209WA or the U2711, the U2311H makes for a compelling buy if you want affordable 1080p. Considering its price, no one has an excuse any more to buy a second-rate TN panel.

  • Dell's 23in monitor delivers exceptional image quality, but the price is a touch high.
