The best new smartphones which have been released in the past four months have had various OS refinements, larger and more responsive touchscreens with damage resistance, faster web access, advanced apps, multimedia handling, navigation capabilities and larger internal storage options.

The latest Android version: 4.2 Jelly Bean running on devices from Samsung, HTC, Motorola and Sony have the same performance improvements already included in Jelly Bean 4.1 along with the new additions like reduced touch latency, CPU input boost and new optimizations for faster processing of tasks.
