The latest Apple MacBook Pro 15-inch with Retina display is still an excellent laptop with a high-resolution screen and enough power for content-creation tasks.

With its slim, lightweight chassis, however, the X1 Carbon Touch is a great choice if you travel for work.

The HD Graphics 5300 core will only be able to handle low-end titles.

The Omen is a very pleasant surprise, fun to use and reasonably priced (but not a bargain).

While the graphics processing will do quite well for streaming media or loading up graphics-heavy websites, it's definitely not meant for rendering games or 3D models, and may be noticeably slow in some multimedia tasks.
