Philips is a Dutch multinational consumer electronics giant and one of the biggest electronics manufacturers in the world. For the best flat panel tvs though Philips is not one of the best brands you can go for. Typically HDTV offerings from companies like Sony, Panasonic and Samsung are much more compelling and easily beat the best Philips Flat panel tvs in terms of both price and performance.
The Philips 2013 TV market features HDTVs with 720p or 1080p maximum resolution with either LCD or LED panels in standard sizes like 40-inch to 60-inch displays. Philips also has a 3D TV and SmartTV contribution which is not very competitive with their counterparts from other brands as yet. However Philips also brings you some of the cheapest large screen televisions at 60-inch and above.
