It's very small and it can take good pictures, but it's not well designed
Samsung gets the cheers for designing an incredibly small interchangeable lens camera, and it’ll fill a niche with select customers, especially the selfie generation. Photographically, it isn’t strong enough to replace cameras with larger sensors.
'The new ST700, PL170 and PL120 offer a unique combination of high image quality, fun and engaging special features, and complete usability, which together with Samsung’s innovative dual screen technology adds up to a premium compact camera package for easy to capture self portraits. '
'The ST700's lens has 35mm-equivalent focal lengths from a useful 26mm wide angle to a moderate 130mm telephoto. '
Dual-screen design; large range of scene modes and effects.
'The competitively-priced PL200 combines advanced features such as high-definition video recording, powerful optics, and a large LCD screen, along with the unmatched ease-of-use that has become one of the defining features of Samsung’s digital camera lineup, making it one of the most well-rounded digital cameras on the market. '
'The Samsung PL200's lens isn't as long or wide as competing models.'
'The overall image quality for the Samsung PL200 is pretty good, especially considering its price point.'
