The cutest lil thing!!
I personally think of this as a toy as it looks like one. It is very handy though!!! Dries beautifully!!! Easy to maintain and store away. Takes a lil longer than going to a laundromat but on those cold days or days where you don't really want to walk it is perfect. The only bad thing is big blankets take FOREVER so usually I dry everything else and just leave the comforters and blankets for the laundromat so it is more economical that way.
Looks very nice. The upgraded electronic LED control panel allows for more selections of drying than the mechanical knob style. This, combined with the LG washer, saves time and electricity when doing laundry. The reduced level of noise during operation is very noticable, compared to the older set, and is an over-all blessing to my ears.
Well built machine
We purchased this dryer at the same time we bought a AWN412 washer three months ago (see review on that). It replaced an 8 year old Kenmore that was still doing it's thing but hubby didn't want to replace it in a few months.
We researched appliances before we bought this pair and we like the fact that it is well made, dependable and made here in the USA. If you are expecting an eco-friendly machine, this is not for you. It's just a plain (and i do mean plain) ugly dryer.
Very nice low-end dryer option
This dryer works extremely efficiently, reasonably quietly, and with enough variable temperatures to safe-guard clothing and linens. The Wrinkle Guard and variable ending alarm are nice features. My favorite thing about this dryer is it's quick drying ability. I also have the sense that it's powerful air exhaust might improve safety, since it minimizes any debris/lint in the exhaust house.
Offers some attractive extra features
As much as we would love to recommend this $799 MSRP GTDS570EDWW for its great user interface and its thorough drying abilities (not to mention its sale price of $670), its unreasonable temperatures convince us not to. Heats of over 175 degrees are for miniature pizzas, not for laundry.
Okay, so maybe you're a big bearded fellow living deep in the woods and all you wear are thick jean overalls and canvas shirts even your socks and underpants are made of denim!
Overall, I have been very pleased with this dryer. It dries clothes much more quickly than our old dryer did. It is not fancy, but it is very practical-has everything I need without a bunch of bells and whistles to break. It is not extremely quiet when operating, but it is not terribly noisy either. For a mid priced dryer, I am very pleased.
Steam and sanitize features are impressive at this price point.
These Samsung DV410AEW/XAA dryers will astound most users, especially those who have never used dryers with steam. It will truly change the way you do laundry, caring for your clothing the way you donâ??t have time to care for it yourself.
DOES NOT DRY
This dryer is horrible. Takes HOURS to dry clothes. Normal loads. Hours, literally. Sensor says it's dry, dryer shuts off, clothes are soaked. So I run it on manual when that happens (which is EVERY time I use it...almost daily with 2 babies in the house). Dryer just doesn't get hot enough on the manual setting. The metal inside a dryer should get PIPING hot. Too hot to touch. Never, ever happens with this dryer. Always just warm, at best. Lint is cleaned out after every load.
Designed to be noticeably quieter than like products
Bosch WTVC3300US dryers may not have steam and sanitize features, but they do have exceptional energy efficiency options and a great warranty. These dryers compare extremely well with many other dryers on the market.
