Good for Portable, Horrible for Home
This player is next to garbage. All the 5 star reviews are from employees of RCA. I bought mine 2 months ago at my local Target. I only used it about 15 times and now it says '' bad disk '' when I try to play a bluray movie. Ive inserted different discs to make sure but it seems that the player is ruined. From the beginning I noticed an annoying hissing sound coming from the speakers and it made for a terrible movie experience. I recommend you save your money and buy the sony one instead.
Built-in DACs of true audiophile quality
The Sony BDP-SX1000 Blu-ray/DVD/CD/plus player is a remarkable piece of consumer design, with just a few forgivable flaws, and a promised wealth of long-term entertainment, wherever and whenever you may go. That's a helluva lot of fun for $300 and the cost of software!
So far so good
Having just received the portable Blu-Ray Player made by Funai (PB750FX1) I've had little time to utilize it.
The time that I have utilized this Funai player I've found it to be reliable with very good imagery on the screen.
The sound volume could be a little better for people like myself with bad hearing what with the volume fixed at a certain level.
If one uses head phones for listening to the program, volume is fine.
Buy this RCA (BRC3108) portable/main Blu-ray Player NOW, NOW, NOW!!!!!! Don't hesitate (explained)!!!!
