Compared to Epilady Discrette
The best thing about epilating is the longer I do it, the less hair grows back. I can go longer without needing to think about it. Even when I've got some long strands coming out, they are so sparse, they aren't very visible.
Speed and efficiency are what draws me to the Silk Epil 5. I'm going to switch to it and keep my Discrette as a backup.
Long-lasting results, Easy to handle
If you're willing to spend a little more money or are looking to go longer between shaves, the Braun Silk-Epil 5, which was called the Silk-Epil Xelle, is a good option, but as with all epilators (which pull out hair as opposed to shaving it), it can be painful to use, especially at first. We find plenty of complaints of pain, but users seem very satisfied and are very enthusiastic about the results they get with this product, which they say improves with time as less hair regrows.
Amazing Electric Shaver with Extras!
Overall, I think the product is worth buying. It prevents irritation that I get sometimes from the regular safety blades yet provides a smooth and close shave. What used to take me 3-5 minutes to do (with needed lather), now takes me less than a minute. Definitely worth making the switch.
Multi-fit Arch FoilPop-up Leaner, 8 Hrs Charging Time period
Panasonic quotations 21 minutes associated with usage for every 15-hour full cost, and that is just about the things i actually saw. General, I used to be really impressed using this shaver, plus I'd definitely suggest it should a person be searching for a brand-new shaver. Or even should you end up being sick and exhausted of the crazy prices of razor blade refills!
Easy to use
This StyleRazor shipped in about a week and I like how compact all the parts are. The trimmer is adjustable with only one trimming comb so you don't have to worry about having three differnt combs attachments laying around. One end of the shaver is a trimmer and the other a shaver. I have had this over a week and it is sill staying charged. The downside which has been mentioned in other reveiws is the shaver is not all that great.
Quality Product for the Price
It has a pop up trimmer for cleaning up mustaches, beards or sideburns; however, I use my other Norelco trimmer for those purposes. It does not have a stand or a case; however, it is portable and lightweight. It is super easy to clean after use and the water resistant nature of the product provides additional shaving and cleaning options.
Manly Men look elsewhere!
The heads or my face broke in after 3 or 4 days and I am now getting a very nice shave. It went 4 weeks on the first charge being used 5 days a week. I went 3 days without shaving once and when I did resume, there was no pulling or tugging at all. Very nice. I still find the motor to be weak, but it seems to do the job for me, and I really like the light weight and low noise. I would still be hesitant if you grow really heavy whiskers, but to all others I say buy this one.
Excellent for its cost
I've used several electric shavers, in the past, and always thought 'more money means a better shaver'. Not so this shaver. Other shavers costing 3 or 4 times more are not as good. They may have more bells and whistles, but I don't need a shaver with 'power windows and air conditioning'. I just want one that shaves my face comfortably. The pt720 fulfills this requirement.
Best Shaver Ever
In short, this is the best shaver I have ever owned. I still have a high-end Braun and it does a good job as well. But it is noisy and doesn't pick up longer, twisted, or stray hairs as well. So, I highly recommend this Norelco as the best combination of price and performance in the entire line.
The razor is a simple shaver. Don't expect a trimming attachment or being able to run the razor without a charge and just use the power cord--it must be charged. The cut is close and outstanding. If your looking for a trimming attachment I would suggest you just get a full grooming kit as that works much better than a shaver attachment anyway. If your looking for a razor to give you a close shave that won't tear your face up in the process, then this razor is perfect.
The 340S-4 shaves close, almost as closely as the Panasonic, but is quieter, and it picks up neck stubble well. However, it's still very audible from the next room, unlike the Norelco. So far I've used it for two weeks on its first charge.
Unless you need the very quiet operation of a rotary, this razor is a fine choice.
Not up to the Braun Series reputation
The Braun 1 Series 150 replaced the no longer made Braun Series 190. The Series 150 shaver is remarkably inferior to the Series 190. The Series 150 has a narrower and slipperier body that is harder to grip than the Series 190. The trimmer and head cover are both flimsier in the Series 150 than in Series 190. The closeness of the shaves are comparable between the 150 and the 190.
The Series 190 was about as close to a perfect shaver that was ever made.
