Best Shaver Ever
In short, this is the best shaver I have ever owned. I still have a high-end Braun and it does a good job as well. But it is noisy and doesn't pick up longer, twisted, or stray hairs as well. So, I highly recommend this Norelco as the best combination of price and performance in the entire line.
The 340S-4 shaves close, almost as closely as the Panasonic, but is quieter, and it picks up neck stubble well. However, it's still very audible from the next room, unlike the Norelco. So far I've used it for two weeks on its first charge.
Unless you need the very quiet operation of a rotary, this razor is a fine choice.
Good clipper, with good battery life
I'm very happy overall with this Andis clipper and particularly happy that they've improved their battery life on this model over previous models - or started using a better quality battery anyhow. I can usually get 2.5 to 3 full trims out of the battery before it needs charging. The model runs well and doesn't have heat issues like Andis sometimes has issues with.
Easy-Clean, Travel-Friendly Design and style
The Philips Norelco 1150x Senso Touch Shaver is one kind of a new breed of shavers that mixes sophistication with the functionality that all man needs. This electric razor features a sleek blue style that is especially created to take place comfortably and conform to the form of the hand. The head with the Philips Norelco 1150x is extremely flexible and is built to conform and contour the design of the face for a more detailed shave.
Precision Trimmer for sideburns, beards, and mustaches
The Philips Norelco 1150x/40 SensoTouch 2d is a wet or dry shaver. What this means is you can dry shave with it or shave with shaving creams and gels. You can even bring this one into the shower with you if you prefer. It gives a really good shave which either method you use, but it is really nice that you have the option to choose.
Lift & Cut System, Wet/Dry Feature
The Norelco 1150x/40 is the definition of getting a bang for your buck, providing shaving results that compete with some of the highest priced electric razors in the market, without having to settle for a poor performance. However, it does have its weaknesses. Achieving a close shave is in fact possible, but requires some effort in performing repeated passes and time.
Wet/Dry design so you can shave in the shower or with lather
Overall, I am very pleased with the Philips Norelco 1150x/40. I've now retired the other electrics I had kicking around the bathroom and use this model exclusively because it delivers the smoothest shave of any model I've tried so far. I'd have no problem whatsoever recommending this to any guy out there, or anyone who is shopping for the guy in their life that needs a reliable electric shaver.
Provides the closest shave by cutting hair below skin level
You'll never have to worry about safety of your skin or left over stubble. Philips Norelco 1150x/40 takes care of them all. Nothing is more important than safety of skin when it comes to shaving. Philips Norelco knows it and they give high priority to it. You'll be safe with any shaver in the Philips Norelco family.
Smooth, gentle and clean shave
The philips norelco 1150x has in built GyroFlex 2D (two-dimensional) technology that glides according to the specific contours of the face to yield optimum results in a shave. The special contouring technology can give a circular motion that can bend inwards, thus facilitates smooth and close shaving. It has a slender, non-slip grip for easy handling purpose.
I'm glad it completely belied my expectation - it's a really nice clipper. It runs very silently and the blade is first-class - there's no pulling or pinching. It has good heft in the hands and is very easy to maneuver. Also, it has multiple clip-ons for a variety of cut-lengths. It's perfect if you want to give yourself a quick buzz-cut.
