Big and powerful yet quite affordable HDTV
All in all, they made a good job producing the Philips 46PFL5907. It does it job nicely no matter what you use it for. It's not also the most expensive one out there. The Philips 46PFL5907 is worthy of consideration for prospective HDTV buyers!
The TV screen displays colors very natural.
The Philips 55PFL3907/F7 supports all the latest technical bells and whistles. The picture quality is very good from my point of view. The sound is ok for such a slim device. The looks are very smart just mounted on the wall. It has not disappointed me in any way, so I speak from a buy recommendation.
Needs a sound boost
I needed to replace my old 19" CRT TV (yes really) because my cable company got rid of all analog channels and I hated having to turn on devices just to check the weather.
I couldn't find any reviews anywhere on this TV and it's one of the few brands I recognized. My HDD's are Phillips and they're awesome so I had hoped this TV would be too.
Philips 50 inch - a decent flatscreen for a great value
The picture quality looks great for XBOX, PS3, DVD, Blu-ray, and HD cable channels. For regular TV or regular cable with no HD channels, the picture is not high quality. It is 1080p but only 60Hz as oppose to 120Hz. I think that may make a little bit of a difference. Also this is an LCD, which I believe is a little less quality than an LED or plasma. For around 600 bucks, however, I think it is worth the money.
