Great Picture and Good Sound
I needed a small Tv, and was pleasantly surprised by this 23" Toshiba. Great picture and good sound accompanied by lots of input / output options - including 3 HDMI ports, Digital Audio Out, Digital Audio In, PC Audio In, Component video and PC in. Setup and programming was easy, though I did have to consult the online users-guide to answer a few questions.
Amazingly deep blacks, but beleaguered by crummy color
It's frustrating that such spectacular contrast on an affordable TV should go to waste like this. The L1350U (MSRP $499.99) renders some truly beautiful blacks, but its colors just can't keep up. How sad! Like a magnificent race horse with a fear of circles... But in practical terms, regular content appeared washed out and unrealistic, and even Blu-ray discs lacked vibrancy of color. What a waste!
Don't be wooed by this TV's pretty price tag.
Image are brighter and more saturated than with LCD CCFL TVs
This TV is perfect for rooms that are a little tight on space. It could be a kitchen, kid's playroom, an office, or dorm room. In terms of features, there isn't much to talk about here. It is as bare bones as it gets. 720p resolution a fine for a TV of this size and the 60Hz refresh rate won't be terribly noticable. It is only 2 lbs. lighter than the 32 inch version, so you can get a feel for how close they are in size.
Don't expect plasma blacks or graphics monitor colors
The Samsung UN29F4000 is a good choice if you need a smaller TV for your bedroom, a guest room, or even sheltered poolside - it's certainly bright enough to combat some sunlight. Cable content is going to look best here, as 1080p Blu-ray discs won't have room to breathe at this resolution. The F4000 would make a decent companion for playing games off of Steam or a PS3, too, as its motion responsiveness is better than average.
For it's best designed and developed, Samsung UN19F4000 has successfully proved its performance to the customers. For a small-sized LED TV, this 19-inch LED TV has also worked beyond customers- imagination.
Bright and clear picture with bright whites and strong contrast
This is a strange little 1080p set. For regular programming, a television of this size does not really benefit from the full HD screen. It would even be hard to see the difference in a 1080p blu ray. The real usefulness of this becomes clear when a computer is hooked up to it. A 1080p monitor allows much more work space than a 720p monitor. 22 inches is a great size for a monitor as well. Think of it as a monitor with a TV tuner built in.
This is great tv all around
I bought this tv to use with a Playstation 3 mostly but also as a regular tv and secondary monitor for my Macbook Pro. The 240Hz really made difference in gaming, movement is much realistic than a 60Hz tv. This tv also works great as a computer monitor. Being a web developer and designer, I am very picky about my display and this works great for graphics and coding. This is my fourth Toshiba tv in about 20 years, they all still work great and I have never had a problem with them.
For the price, great picture quality
The Toshiba L2300U series may be entry-level, but its picture quality is not. It seems like Toshiba has taken pains to avoid trapping consumers in a feature fight: "This one is 3D but not smart, this one is both, this one feeds your dog, this one is 3D but doesn't come in 1080p," etc. The L2300U doesn't do anything extra except play back USB content. Its on-board software is basic, and cheap. The design? Also cheap.
Great TV with DVD Player
I am very pleased with our purchase. The TV was easy to set up and looks really nice on the TV stand I got for it. Picture quality is better than I expected. Sound quality is definitely adequate - it isn't bose quality speakers, but I have no trouble hearing the TV loudly from across the room. I would recommend to someone looking for an affordable TV with great features and a nice design.
A great package without the kiddie features
After doing my research based on the above criteria, Samsung's 6003 model was the *only* one that fit the bill - no SmartTV (don't want to pay for features I'm not going to use), no 3D (waste of money, I believe), the Ultra-Slim form factor, and all of the technical features which make the display so great. At $697, I felt this was a great price - and I really liked saving money by not having the features I deemed obsolete.
Not bad, not great
All things considered, it's a good value. It seems well made. If you're looking for a knockout picture or wanting to use it in a very bright room, maybe there are better choices out there. If I weren't very tightly constrained by the space I have to fit a TV into, I probably would have returned it for a 40", of which there seem to be a lot more to choose from.
Cheap, Full HD, good resolution
For so much good spec, the Vizio E390-A1 is a great buy. If you are thinking to replace your old tv and looking for a good quality and affordable tv, then you should go for this.
Product retains the SONY accuracy in picture rendition and detail along with ease of setup. This model has additional features, including Internet connection. Setup is straight forward and easily followed. We had tried a competitor's model, but found it --though "big name" -- deficient in hi-definition performance, number and ease of interconnect with other signal sources, and certainly not worth the saving of just a few dollars from the SONY price.
This is a top quality HDTV.
The Sony BRAVIA KDL32EX340 has recently gone on sale and is another in the line of great HD televisions that the company has been producing for the past few years.
Great quality and great price.
The Sony BRAVIA KDL32EX340 is a wonderful TV to have for anyone. It will benefit those that need to put a TV in a smaller room, office, and for someone that loves to play videogames. If you're on a budget, and want a small TV with great quality, then this should be taken into consideration.
The best LED-lit television at a budget price
It's a great buy. Lots of connectivity, access to smart apps (I enjoy the YouTube one, Netflix is also available and they are adding more). Definitely recommended.
Tips and Caveats
If you plan to use this as a monitor, make sure you label the source as "PC" of some kind. This removes a lot of post-processing.
The overall picture quality is pretty impressive.
The most enticing element about Samsung UN32EH5300 is the presence of various features such as for internet connections, Netflix, etc. The Wi-Fi technology included in the TV is a major plus to the HDTV as well as the fact that it has stronger and easy setup to connections. The overall picture quality is pretty impressive. The web page PIP comes along with the TV signal.
The web browser doesn't support Flash, which I initially thought Samsung does support on these TVs.
Presence of internet connections, Netflix, etc.
The Samsung UN32EH5300 is one of the budget LED TVs in the market today. The picture quality is not the same as its expensive counterparts but is quite nice for the price that you pay and for its size. This HDTV also has some useful features that may be a good selling point for the model such as the Smart Content and the built-in Wi-Fi.
Very Good Picture and Sound
I was trying to save a few bucks getting a new 32 inch TV and initially bought a Westinghouse UW32SC1W from Costco. What a big mistake! I ended up returning it and getting this Samsung unit instead for a few more dollars. That turned out to be a good move since this one has great picture and decent sound, something missing from the Westinghouse even after 3 days of endless adjustments.
