Great Value... but some minor disappointments
Great picture (be advised that Dish TV, Direct TV, etc. all compress the HD signals - so to get a proper view of the picture, either get the HD from a Blu-Ray disk or an antenna - over-air HD is not compressed, so it looks much better). Most TVs with this kind of picture are much more expensive... hence the great value. I also like the remote and the navigation. Hooking up a Blu-Ray/DVD player and Roku was pretty standard.
Excellent High Value LG Smart HDTV!!
This LG looks, sounds and works the way you WANT it to!
At the current price, the LG 47LM6200 represents one of the very top values in HDTV today. Read my caveats at the very end of this review, but otherwise you just can't beat this TV for the price. IT currently resides in the master bedroom , connected to a Fios HD DVR and Oppo Blu Ray player but could easily be the center of ANY living room entertainment center or home theater set-up.
The best 3D experience in the business
With so many features done well on this TV, it is hard to not recommend the 32LM6200 (MSRP $650). There is a robust Smart TV platform, industry-leading 3D, and yes, a good quality picture. LG has done a fantastic job at creating a mid-range TV that is feature-heavy and a solid performer.
The design of this TV will catch the eye of many consumers: it is bold and futuristic, and those adjectives apply to the motion controlled remote, too.
Overall, the LG DM2350D can be considered good value at £250 and a good deal less if you shop around. Lacking a Freeview HD tuner, its highest image clarity comes from a native 1920 x 1080 source that a PC or various AV components will oblige with. Given its size, as a monitor, even though some may find this resolution delivers graphics and text that can be painfully small, detail remains high.
Compared to my 47inch 120Hz LED LG TV. This one has better color accuracy, better blacks, very similar picture quality, but a noticeably dimmer picture. Personally, I like this TV better. I highly recommend it.
Shipping went well. However, the company did not call until they were in my driveway, would have liked a call an hour before to make sure someone was home to receive it.
The LG PZ950 50" 3D plasma HDTV has a strong feature set, attractive design and decent performance, but it does lack slightly in overall picture quality compared to other similar plasmas. It does have great Internet applications and the design of the interface, but the interactive motion-sensitive remote control is this TV's most unique feature.
Very accurate colour reproduction
The LG M2780D-PU is a high definition display with a digital TV tuner built in. This is similar to the LG M2380D-PU, but is a larger 27 inch screen size. They are the same in all other features, including a full 1080p High-Definition resolution and a 5ms response time for fast-moving images.
Offers excellent value for your money with excellent picture.
The KDL46EX720 Bravia TV offers excellent value for your money with excellent picture. If you want to have a reliable, respectable, super thin, and easy to operate TV, this Sony Bravia model is your best pick. The networking features are an extra plus, but do not expect easy navigation on the internet. You can set parental control, it has a motion sensor for energy saving, easy navigation and setup and very quick start.
Great movie and game performance
The Samsung SyncMaster FX2490HD is a 24â?? LED backlit display released in August 2010 as the flagship model to the SyncMaster 90 series. As well as providing a full 1080p resolution with an ultra-fast 5ms response time, the display also hosts an integrated TV tuner for using the monitor as a television.
Lots Of Video Input Connectors
Samsung's FX2490HD display is a strong choice for anyone that happens to be looking for a computer display that can also double as an HDTV display as well. It certainly is much easier than trying to tie a HDTV tuner into a PC. It provides a wide range of connectors for use with multiple video sources and also features picture-in-picture. The anti-glare coating is certainly a nice touch.
Bright, clear images
Despite a couple of minor faults, it seems that LG has ended its poor showing so far by releasing the LX9500. If you treat it with care, not only does it look great in your lounge room it looks great when turned on. If LED local dimming is this good now, we look forward to what future versions bring.
Great image quality and contrast levels
LG's best 3D LED television is an excellent all-rounder apart from its mediocre display of 3D content. It has excellent picture quality and a very high contrast ratio, and offers some very well implemented video-on-demand features. Apart from the form-before-function glossy screen and occasional minor backlight cloudiness, the 47LX9500 is an excellent LED television that is among the best on the market.
After spending hours with this panel, we have reason to believe the 55-inch LX9500's strengths has outweighed its shortfalls. LG's BORDERLESS design is quite the charmer, except for a terribly reflective glass front. If you are enticed by a minimalistic form factor, then its slim profile and skinny bezel would strike a chord for sure. The LX9500 has a generous selection of AV connectors, including four HDMI and two USB ports in all.
Multiple, customizable viewing modes
The LG 50PK750 is a beautiful, full featured HDTV. Its wireless media option will be a lifesaver in some installations, saving hundreds of dollars over competitive wireless HDMI systems. The LG's graceful, modern industrial design will make for an attractive feature in contemporary interiors when the unit is off. More importantly, its video performance, with the exception of black levels, is quite good.
Excellent image processing
The LG 50PK750 is a decent performer for the money and offers some excellent features, but it's up against very stiff competition.
