The Sharp Aquos LC-42D69U is a 42" high-performance LCD panel TV that will be released in the first quarter of 2011 with the almost identical 32" Aquos LC-32D59U. This model has better resolution at 1920 x 1080 HD compared to 1366 x 768 HDTV in that version, while they both have a high brightness, high contrast display with wide viewing angle for watching in high light situations and from different locations in the room without picture fading.
AQUOS Advantage support
Sharp is the inventor of LCD TV panel technology and also the new Quattron Quad pixel technology. The LC-42D69 foregoes the latter in this value oriented 42" LCD TV with traditional CFL backlighting. It does contain USB port inputs to enable photos and music, but no video.
