What else do you wan for the price?
If you want a large screen for a cheap price, stop here. This TV might not have all of the bells and whistles that Samsung or Sony offer, but you also are not paying anywhere near those prices, either. This TV offers a great picture at a great price (at 40"), and for my money that is all that I really care about.
Beautiful TV for the money!
I bought this as a second TV for another room in our house. My main TV is a 58" Samsung Plasma That I purchased a few years ago for a lot more money than this one.
One of the things I wanted in a new TV was Wi-Fi, but I didn't want to pay a lot of money. Fortunately, I got some advice from a local dealer who said to pick a cheaper TV that had good picture quality, then buy a Blu-ray player with Wi-Fi and save yourself a ton of money.
I took his advice and found this TV.
Viewing angle on this LG is also one of its strengths
We wanted to love the LG PN6500. It has a lot going for it: good looks, accurate colors, an incredibly wide viewing angle, and terrific motion performance. But a terrible contrast ratio ruins the entire package. What's worse, this is a plasma TV, which means it should have a rich, dark black level. The fact that it doesn't is troublesome.
LG's LED displays usually have poor black levels and incredibly bright white levels to make up for them.
Very good sense of 2D picture depth
I mean if you just want a good 1080p HD picture for a darker room at home how can you beat $849? You cant. If you are not interested in 3D, Smart TV or any of the fanciest features that higher end TVs have to offer and just want a good sports or movie TV then the 60PN6500 could be the answer. You certainly get great savings from 1) going plasma and 2) foregoing all the extra features. There still plenty of HDMI inputs and connectivity options.
Offers the comfort of a big HDTV with an affordable price tag
At the end of the day, it seems that LG 42LM3700 is quite a good buy. It offers the basic functionality of a modern HDTV for an affordable price. Whatever you want to do with it, you'll most probably be satisfied with it.
Conversion of 2D to 3D picture effect
Large screen helps in optimal viewing experience of movies in a bigger screen, and even in a HD mode with better clarity. In addition to this, the latest technology of LG Cinema 3D, the viewers are able to transform the 2D version of visuals into advanced 3D version, by controlling the depth of the picture. Stunning and enhanced three-dimensional entertaining system has provided an added edge to the device by LG, model number 42LM3700.
Rugged, waterproof and weatherproof
From where I sit, an outdoor TV must meet two essential criteria: It must stand up to the elements, both natural and not-so-natural, and it must produce bright and beautiful images on even the sunniest days. Sunbrite's 5560HD met both qualifications with ease. Furthermore, the 5560HD looks great without regard for its intended use, even at night when fine details are much easier to see.
Hanging out with this TV was terrific fun, and not just because I got to throw things at it.
Can weather up to 122 degrees F
A $1495 retail can get you a high-definition HDTV with all the bells and whistles you'd want, but leaving it outdoors - no way! The SunBriteTV Model 3260HD All-Weather Outdoor LCD Television may have a small screen size (32-inches) but what it lacks in display width, is made up in usability in the great outdoors. Say goodbye to that couch, already!
This is one fine TV!
First off, I got this 60" plasma at the ridiculous bargain price of $698 from the Audio and Video Center in Santa Monica. I was initially worried about buying the cheapest model in its class -- everything else was double the price -- but this box rocks!
Beautiful deep rich colors, perfectly good -- no matter what the other guy says -- sound and easy setup. Armed with a $79 BluRay, you'll have a REALLY economical, .REALLY awesome smart TV.
Great TV after a lot of tweaking
With a lot of tweaking, I got the picture to look beautiful. I will use my Comcast box sparingly, but I might move to FIOS if the support full 1080. Watching movies on my PS3 and playing games on my Xbox stopped me from returning the TV. I will not be surprised if this set gets bad reviews from Comcast users (even though Its not Samsung's fault). I'm a "videophile" and this passed my personal test with vibrant colors.
Pretty good fast action performance
This is not the least expensive 32" LCD TV you will find but it has LED edge backlighting and the CMR 120 for fast action processing and display. It also has much better front appearance than most of the 32" TVs on the market. It's $450 price tag puts it $100 to $125 more than simple 60Hz LCD (CCFL) TVs from Toshiba and Sony.
Great contrast, Accurate colors
A 40-inch Samsung for less than $700 is good deal without knowing much more. Being that we are a business based on writing scientific reviews with testing data, we will give you some actual insight on the performance and usability of this product in our conclusion.
The UN40EH5000 ($679 MSRP) from Samsung is in many ways the perfect television for some consumers.
EXCELLENT LED TV!!
This is an awesome TV to have at the kids room, the image quality is AWESOME (exactly what you would expect from a Samsung product)
I Highly recommend you get some HDMI cables (if youre looking to optimize the picture quality when using this product with an XBOX 360, or any other game console)
PS if you're looking to buy a Television of this dimension (26 inches) then get the 720p as there is no major difference between 720p and 1080p in this size.. now if youre looking to get a...
Good choice for the money
Owning a SONY Bravia LCD and a Panasonic Viera plasma I knew I preferred the plasma and decided on this LG 50-inch for its hard to beat price. I considered it a secondary TV to my larger 1080p Panasonic so didn't mind this one's 720p resolution. After living with it for a few weeks, I'm happy with that decision and I would rate the picture very highly, with a couple minor reservations.
Saving energy is one of the biggest pros of the LG 42PA4500 TV.
The LG 42PA4500 TV is a quality unit with many great features. It may not be the best choice out there, but for the price, it is definitely worth every penny. If you can afford to spend more than $750 on a TV, this might not be the right choice for you, but if not, it is a great upgrade from any LCD unit or any older Plasma.
You will get a sharp image with great features to automatically calibrate your picture.
Isn't promising the most amazing image quality.
The LG 42PA4500 is a plasma TV that can be picked up for around £350. We tested the 42" model (42PA4500) but this TV is also available with a 50" screen (50PA4500).
With its relatively restrained price tag, the LG PA4500 isn't promising the most amazing image quality. In fact, LG seems more keen to promote the integrated multimedia player.
