Easy set up very clear picture in HD
So easy to use and set up, crystal clear picture if you are watching anything HD. This isn't even for sale yet here on Amazon but I bought this at a local dealer yesterday and it is perfect. Apps work great. We have amazon prime and i am watching a movie as I type. We got the 50in and could not be happier.
Good overall image quality
The design of the Sony KDL-46EX645 has seen a little bit of an update compared to Sony's previous line of HDTVs. The new bezel is metallic in color and has a new finish that actually makes it look quite attractive. The stand, on the other hand, is a fairly standard black rectangular design.
Aesthetically beautiful, Well rounded features
Overall, we really like the Sony KDL46EX645. We feel it has a good combination of features for its price. It's a good choice to be the main TV in your home.
Solid picture performance from CCFL backlight screen.
LG has mostly moved to LED back lighting in their LCD televisions but there are still a few lines of CCFL (fluorescent) back lit LCD models like the CS560 series. The 32" 32CS560 has a 720p, 60Hz LCD panel with flurescent back lighting but few other features.
You can count on quality performance that will last for years.
When comparing other TVs in this price range, this is the one that stands out from the rest of the crowd. It is loaded with great features and shows an accurate and crisp color display. The setup is easy and the value for the money is overwhelming. One other interesting feature that this TV has is the ability to swivel from one side to the other.
You're going to need a narrow screwdriver that is quite long to get the TV stand assembled.
Can display near-realistic image quality.
The LG 32CS460 LCD HDTV is one of LG's lower tier brands. It is the only model in the CS460 series as of writing this review. But it's not a TV without amazing capabilities as shown here. In online ratings, the CS460 earned 3.5 out of 5 stars.
So this LG model is neither terrible nor perfect. It's slightly higher than average. It also awarded with a 2.8 Greenpeace policy rating. As stated earlier, this LG TV is affordable and was discounted by some stores.
This is one fine TV!
First off, I got this 60" plasma at the ridiculous bargain price of $698 from the Audio and Video Center in Santa Monica. I was initially worried about buying the cheapest model in its class -- everything else was double the price -- but this box rocks!
Beautiful deep rich colors, perfectly good -- no matter what the other guy says -- sound and easy setup. Armed with a $79 BluRay, you'll have a REALLY economical, .REALLY awesome smart TV.
Amazing TV for the price!
Being that this is my first HDTV, I can't really compare it to another specific one, but from what I have, it's just been amazing. The quality of the picture on the screen is crisp and bright, the volume adjusts very well, they even have a setting where it dims if you have the tv on at night in the dark (I sometimes fall asleep with the TV on so that helps). For the price it's a great bargain, I was in WalMart the other day and they had another 32 in. for the same price but a no name brand.
The viewing angle is wide for an LCD TV
There's not much to dislike about the LG 42LS3400 (MSRP $719). It doesn't have many ports and the audio is average, but it makes up for these shortcomings with its great color accuracy, wide viewing angle, and bright white levels. This TV even did well with motion performance and it doesn't have any fancy enhancement features like "TruMotion" or "CineMotion."
The MSRP may say $719, but you can easily find this LED for under $500 online.
Great TV and fantastic value -- Get one while you can!!!
If you are looking for a good and serviceable TV and don't need a larger size than 42"' or more than two HDMI connections, or the other bells and whistles, this is a fantastic choice. I don't understand the relatively low marks it gets in its review by CNET; In my opinion, it is much better than the review indicates. The advantage with the plasma is you don't need to worry about the refresh rate and the picture is great no matter what angle you watch from.
Very deep black level for an LCD
When we reviewed Toshiba's flagship, the L7200U, we found a cheaply priced HDTV that was of very high quality and usability. The E220U continues that tradition. It may be a "dumb," non-3D version of Toshiba's fancier models, but the quality we saw on their flagship has trickled down and informed its core performance. We'd say a 40-inch TV of this caliber, for an MSRP of $499, is a pretty solid deal.
A good but not great set
My own opinion of the 560 is that it's an excellent looking TV but one that grinds right along the border of "minimal" and "cheap". The set has been scaled back significantly compared to past models in response to the advance of LED, which seems poised to become the default backlight technology of LG's TV lineup. If you have simple tastes and just want a good looking set for gaming and occasional movie watching, the 560 is a great value and will perform well enough.
There isn't much special beyond a good picture with a 1080p resolution.
The LG 42CS560 is a great model for what you pay for. It is cheap, and also has a good picture with a 1080p resolution. There isn't much special beyond that. The screen size at 42 inches makes this a very versatile TV, which can be used in many places as a main family TV, or as a secondary bedroom TV. Many people who bought it felt that it also made a great gift for someone looking to upgrade from an old CRT TV.
Fantastic TV ... with only one possible issue
The picture is beautiful after calibration, and with energy saver mode turned off, obviously. I found that the TruMotion feature works under certain conditions, mostly for TV broadcasts. For DVD and Bluray, I had to turn it off - because, even though it did seem to make the image appear sharper (especially for DVD material), I just couldn't get used to the SOE. Suddenly, the Mentalist characters looked like they wandered onto the set of Days of Our Lives. Just too distracting.
EXCELLENT LED TV!!
This is an awesome TV to have at the kids room, the image quality is AWESOME (exactly what you would expect from a Samsung product)
I Highly recommend you get some HDMI cables (if youre looking to optimize the picture quality when using this product with an XBOX 360, or any other game console)
PS if you're looking to buy a Television of this dimension (26 inches) then get the 720p as there is no major difference between 720p and 1080p in this size.. now if youre looking to get a...
