Great TV with DVD Player
I am very pleased with our purchase. The TV was easy to set up and looks really nice on the TV stand I got for it. Picture quality is better than I expected. Sound quality is definitely adequate - it isn't bose quality speakers, but I have no trouble hearing the TV loudly from across the room. I would recommend to someone looking for an affordable TV with great features and a nice design.
Good for the price!
The picture does need some work but the more cords and the settings that you hook it up to makes the picture get better and better. We also connected our new Blue/Ray DVD and boy the picture is great!!!! I will however get the extended warranty because nothing is guarantied. Overall it is very much worth the price for getting a "50" inch!
Bright, clear images
Despite a couple of minor faults, it seems that LG has ended its poor showing so far by releasing the LX9500. If you treat it with care, not only does it look great in your lounge room it looks great when turned on. If LED local dimming is this good now, we look forward to what future versions bring.
Great image quality and contrast levels
LG's best 3D LED television is an excellent all-rounder apart from its mediocre display of 3D content. It has excellent picture quality and a very high contrast ratio, and offers some very well implemented video-on-demand features. Apart from the form-before-function glossy screen and occasional minor backlight cloudiness, the 47LX9500 is an excellent LED television that is among the best on the market.
After spending hours with this panel, we have reason to believe the 55-inch LX9500's strengths has outweighed its shortfalls. LG's BORDERLESS design is quite the charmer, except for a terribly reflective glass front. If you are enticed by a minimalistic form factor, then its slim profile and skinny bezel would strike a chord for sure. The LX9500 has a generous selection of AV connectors, including four HDMI and two USB ports in all.
