I observed the same "soap opera effect" out of the box that other reviewers commented on and followed thier instructions for how to eliminate this. After a little tweaking, motion seemed natural. The first thing I tried out was the Netflix app. After downloading an update, it launched Netflix no problem. After initial buffering of 5-10 seconds loading a movie everything played smoothly with zero lag whatsoever.
Incredibly bright picture, Great Color accuracy
There aren't many 60-inch LED Smart TV's that can be had for $1,100. Actually, at the time of this review, we were only able to find one near that price: The Vizio E601i. And since we've not had the opportunity to review that particular model, we can't draw a comparison. However, we can say that the Sharp LE650 offers great value.
Was looking to trade up from my old big clunker of a tube TV to a new streamlined flat screen, and after all the investigating (there were hours of it) I decided on this Westinghouse 40'. It was the cheapest in it's category, and out of all the stores and web sites I tried. The only other place who had it for $299.00 was Best Buy, but on Amazon I got to save myself the $20.00 in tax ( I live in Taxachussetts). I have had it for over a month now with no issues so far.
Worth every penny
Color calibration is outstanding. Sound bar is amazing. 3D effects and quality are surprisingly good. I was scared of seeing bad pixels / motion issues. 120hz trumotion is amazing. I'v been watching NFL in this tv and this TV is awesome. You can control TV and sound bar with one remote. 3D blu ray player was a bonus.
Rugged, waterproof and weatherproof
From where I sit, an outdoor TV must meet two essential criteria: It must stand up to the elements, both natural and not-so-natural, and it must produce bright and beautiful images on even the sunniest days. Sunbrite's 5560HD met both qualifications with ease. Furthermore, the 5560HD looks great without regard for its intended use, even at night when fine details are much easier to see.
Hanging out with this TV was terrific fun, and not just because I got to throw things at it.
Can weather up to 122 degrees F
A $1495 retail can get you a high-definition HDTV with all the bells and whistles you'd want, but leaving it outdoors - no way! The SunBriteTV Model 3260HD All-Weather Outdoor LCD Television may have a small screen size (32-inches) but what it lacks in display width, is made up in usability in the great outdoors. Say goodbye to that couch, already!
Feature set is broad enough to encompass all the expected needs of the average viewer.
The Sceptre E465BV-FHDD 46-inch 3D LED HDTV is a well constructed 3D capable Full HD flat panel display. The feature set is broad enough to encompass all the expected needs of the average viewer, and the price tag and 46-inch size makes it a viable and useful addition to the beginner's home theater setup.
Just what I wanted
My picture quality is amazing good and I would put it up against anything sony or sammy has to offer. TV had plenty of inputs for all of my equipment and works great. Sound isnt to great but thats to be expected onany slim tv. My home sound system took care of this issue. Not really messed with the apps because I have a computer and xbox 360 for that. I would recommend this tv to anyone looking for a great picture at a great price.
Smooth color gradients
The Sharp LC-52LE640U ($1199.99 MSRP) is one in a series of large-screen, 1080p, Smart TVs, with a heavy motion processing feature. All of these televisions come with AQUOS Link, which allows communication between several AQUOS devices, like DVD players, as well as DLNA to share content across computers and phones. On such big displays, picture quality becomes paramount.
Clearer moving image
The Sharp LC-52LE640U is a part of Sharp's 2012 series of LED-LCD TVs. At 52 inches, the LC-52LE640U is ultraslim, on a narrow bezel. It offers edge-lit LED backlighting, an X-Gen LCD panel, and 120hz refresh rate. The SmartCentral user interface with onboard WiFi and streaming content apps (Netflix, CinemaNow, Vudu, etc) and Aquos Advantage Live. This model has four HDMI inputs.
Great TV.. for the price
The picture is much larger than my old 52", ofcourse. Picture quality looks alot better too. I use my test movie Star Ware 3 opening battle scene over Coresant. I had both TVs next to each other to compare, switching back and forth with an HDMI cable. I can see the difference. My Samsung has 150,000:1 contrast and 240 hz. This Sharp is much higher at 4,000,000:1 but only 120hz. I was worried about this, but scenes where I could see motion blur in a regular 60hz are not there in this 120hz Sharp.
Pretty good quality for a very good price
Let me start by saying that my television came promptly and in one piece, two days after ordering. I was very happy about that, and even happier that it wasn't busted up into fragments during shipping- so order with confidence.
As for the television itself, the picture is pretty amazing. Some say you can't really tell the difference between 780 and 1080 with televisions of this size, but comparing it to my roommates television of the same size, mine looks clearer and crisper.
Excellent TV for the Money
This is a great HDTV for the money. Dont get me wrong, its not up there with the Samsungs that are 3 times the price as this one. But for the money, I was overly impressed. The picture quality is stunning in full HD 1080p, and believe me, I have a skeptical eye. I own a CCTV distribution company and I used this in my showroom to display some of our Hi-Def 1080p cameras. My cameras look better on this monitor than any other that I have seen.
