Image are brighter and more saturated than with LCD CCFL TVs
This TV is perfect for rooms that are a little tight on space. It could be a kitchen, kid's playroom, an office, or dorm room. In terms of features, there isn't much to talk about here. It is as bare bones as it gets. 720p resolution a fine for a TV of this size and the 60Hz refresh rate won't be terribly noticable. It is only 2 lbs. lighter than the 32 inch version, so you can get a feel for how close they are in size.
Don't expect plasma blacks or graphics monitor colors
The Samsung UN29F4000 is a good choice if you need a smaller TV for your bedroom, a guest room, or even sheltered poolside - it's certainly bright enough to combat some sunlight. Cable content is going to look best here, as 1080p Blu-ray discs won't have room to breathe at this resolution. The F4000 would make a decent companion for playing games off of Steam or a PS3, too, as its motion responsiveness is better than average.
For it's best designed and developed, Samsung UN19F4000 has successfully proved its performance to the customers. For a small-sized LED TV, this 19-inch LED TV has also worked beyond customers- imagination.
Great little TV
This TV has all the bells and whistles of a larger set, but fits in my kitchen. I have it hooked up to a Leaf antenna and a Roku, and can watch anything I have on the larger flat screen in the living room. It's lightweight and easy to handle when mounting. The only reason I disn't give it 5 stars is the sound quality isn't as good as it could be - but for the price, it's reasonable.
Sweet Little TV
This is a great small TV for the price! I bought it for the kitchen to replace an old 13" analog model. Amazing how much room this saves compared to the old one. The only drawback is the sound, as others have noted. It's tinny. However, in a small area with the bass set on highest and the treble the lowest, it is just fine.
Great TV for the bucks
It was easy to run through the setup and tweak the color and sound, and both are great. I could have spent more and gotten a bigger or "better" set, but we don't notice any difference between the RCA and my brother's 55" 1080p, (though we probably would in a side by side comparison). Our bottom line is that we have a HDTV that we are happy with, and spent $1200 less.
Sounds like a deal, but don't be fooled
Seems like a nice, inexpensive set, right? The color is very muted (mostly blue/gray, not very life-like), the sound is quite tinny, too. I tried playing around with the settings, but it was also very hard for the remote to be sensed by the tv from 10 feet away. All very disappointing, but at least I have the cable company remote, so I don't have to bother with the one that came in the box.
Great little TV
I was a little skeptical about ordering this item, as there was only 1 review. The review however, was very good. So I decided to order and can not tell you how pleased I am wth this tv. It came sooner than promised, packaging was great, easy to set up, and sound and picture are great. The DVD function is easy to figure out. I am very happy with my purchase.
Very High Value
For the cost of this TV, I am very very happy. It does everything that I wanted it to do, takes up little space, has loud volume, clear picture, and very efficient power consumption (also has an auto-off timer). As a bonus: TV remains very cool to the touch even after hours of use. No extra heat equals no wasted energy.
The only thing lacking is a longer power cord. Cord is too short by at least one foot.
