Beautiful TV for the money!
I bought this as a second TV for another room in our house. My main TV is a 58" Samsung Plasma That I purchased a few years ago for a lot more money than this one.
One of the things I wanted in a new TV was Wi-Fi, but I didn't want to pay a lot of money. Fortunately, I got some advice from a local dealer who said to pick a cheaper TV that had good picture quality, then buy a Blu-ray player with Wi-Fi and save yourself a ton of money.
I took his advice and found this TV.
Viewing angle on this LG is also one of its strengths
We wanted to love the LG PN6500. It has a lot going for it: good looks, accurate colors, an incredibly wide viewing angle, and terrific motion performance. But a terrible contrast ratio ruins the entire package. What's worse, this is a plasma TV, which means it should have a rich, dark black level. The fact that it doesn't is troublesome.
LG's LED displays usually have poor black levels and incredibly bright white levels to make up for them.
Very good sense of 2D picture depth
I mean if you just want a good 1080p HD picture for a darker room at home how can you beat $849? You cant. If you are not interested in 3D, Smart TV or any of the fanciest features that higher end TVs have to offer and just want a good sports or movie TV then the 60PN6500 could be the answer. You certainly get great savings from 1) going plasma and 2) foregoing all the extra features. There still plenty of HDMI inputs and connectivity options.
Affordable price, Nice-looking design, Strong set of Smart TV apps, Deep black levels
The Vizio E500I-A1 is a 50-inch LED 1080p HDTV with deep black levels, a good selection of online content and a sleek design. We were a little disappointed with the quality of the image, however, especially in terms of the color vividness and the local-dimming.
This is great tv all around
I bought this tv to use with a Playstation 3 mostly but also as a regular tv and secondary monitor for my Macbook Pro. The 240Hz really made difference in gaming, movement is much realistic than a 60Hz tv. This tv also works great as a computer monitor. Being a web developer and designer, I am very picky about my display and this works great for graphics and coding. This is my fourth Toshiba tv in about 20 years, they all still work great and I have never had a problem with them.
For the price, great picture quality
The Toshiba L2300U series may be entry-level, but its picture quality is not. It seems like Toshiba has taken pains to avoid trapping consumers in a feature fight: "This one is 3D but not smart, this one is both, this one feeds your dog, this one is 3D but doesn't come in 1080p," etc. The L2300U doesn't do anything extra except play back USB content. Its on-board software is basic, and cheap. The design? Also cheap.
The best LED-lit television at a budget price
It's a great buy. Lots of connectivity, access to smart apps (I enjoy the YouTube one, Netflix is also available and they are adding more). Definitely recommended.
Tips and Caveats
If you plan to use this as a monitor, make sure you label the source as "PC" of some kind. This removes a lot of post-processing.
The overall picture quality is pretty impressive.
The most enticing element about Samsung UN32EH5300 is the presence of various features such as for internet connections, Netflix, etc. The Wi-Fi technology included in the TV is a major plus to the HDTV as well as the fact that it has stronger and easy setup to connections. The overall picture quality is pretty impressive. The web page PIP comes along with the TV signal.
The web browser doesn't support Flash, which I initially thought Samsung does support on these TVs.
Presence of internet connections, Netflix, etc.
The Samsung UN32EH5300 is one of the budget LED TVs in the market today. The picture quality is not the same as its expensive counterparts but is quite nice for the price that you pay and for its size. This HDTV also has some useful features that may be a good selling point for the model such as the Smart Content and the built-in Wi-Fi.
Love this TV!!!
I love this TV!!! It is the perfect answer for an already smart setup. If you have an apple tv or game console and dont want an overpriced tv for simple features this is it. A big tv, great picture, and free sound bar with mount. NOTE: there is no mount for the tv just the sound bar. Remote comes with batteries but no backlight.
Great TV at an excellent price!
All in all I am very happy with this TV. I specifically wanted to get a "non smart TV" for the fact that I already have all of the apps and functionality I need with my XBox, PS3, and Apple TV. I was really happy to find such a high quality TV without all the frills. I was more than happy to pay a couple hundred dollars less for a quality TV set without the "smart" capability. The fact that it has 3d capability was a really nice extra that seemed almost "free" considering the price tag.
Excellent TV for the Money
This is a great HDTV for the money. Dont get me wrong, its not up there with the Samsungs that are 3 times the price as this one. But for the money, I was overly impressed. The picture quality is stunning in full HD 1080p, and believe me, I have a skeptical eye. I own a CCTV distribution company and I used this in my showroom to display some of our Hi-Def 1080p cameras. My cameras look better on this monitor than any other that I have seen.
I like it
It has forward facing speakers so the sound is very good, and the picture quality, especially on the 1080 stations is just beautiful. The difference between CRT and digital is pretty amazing.
It has an easy to use remote, setting up is easy, and if you're a newbie like me (any left?) , more intricate setting up like subtitles and such takes a min. or so but it's pretty straight forward.
Beautiful HD Picture and so easy to set up
I had seen the AQUOS in a 50" and 60" so I knew how beautiful the HD picture was. The 32" did not let me down...you have to have HD or the picture will not look as nice. TV and DVD setup was a piece of cake. Only small work was to call Brighthouse to sync up some functions with the remote. Would recomment the Sharp Aquos in any size. Enjoy!!!
