Easy set up very clear picture in HD
So easy to use and set up, crystal clear picture if you are watching anything HD. This isn't even for sale yet here on Amazon but I bought this at a local dealer yesterday and it is perfect. Apps work great. We have amazon prime and i am watching a movie as I type. We got the 50in and could not be happier.
Good overall image quality
The design of the Sony KDL-46EX645 has seen a little bit of an update compared to Sony's previous line of HDTVs. The new bezel is metallic in color and has a new finish that actually makes it look quite attractive. The stand, on the other hand, is a fairly standard black rectangular design.
Aesthetically beautiful, Well rounded features
Overall, we really like the Sony KDL46EX645. We feel it has a good combination of features for its price. It's a good choice to be the main TV in your home.
Rugged, waterproof and weatherproof
From where I sit, an outdoor TV must meet two essential criteria: It must stand up to the elements, both natural and not-so-natural, and it must produce bright and beautiful images on even the sunniest days. Sunbrite's 5560HD met both qualifications with ease. Furthermore, the 5560HD looks great without regard for its intended use, even at night when fine details are much easier to see.
Hanging out with this TV was terrific fun, and not just because I got to throw things at it.
Can weather up to 122 degrees F
A $1495 retail can get you a high-definition HDTV with all the bells and whistles you'd want, but leaving it outdoors - no way! The SunBriteTV Model 3260HD All-Weather Outdoor LCD Television may have a small screen size (32-inches) but what it lacks in display width, is made up in usability in the great outdoors. Say goodbye to that couch, already!
This TV has a really nice picture, 1080p HD, the whole package! Why spend thousands on other LCD or LED TV's, when you can get this one for half that price...
I can't complain about anything. My order shipped ahead of time, all I had to do was plug it in to the wall and hook the cable up and I was watching football within a few minutes of receiving the TV.
Great TV at an excellent price!
All in all I am very happy with this TV. I specifically wanted to get a "non smart TV" for the fact that I already have all of the apps and functionality I need with my XBox, PS3, and Apple TV. I was really happy to find such a high quality TV without all the frills. I was more than happy to pay a couple hundred dollars less for a quality TV set without the "smart" capability. The fact that it has 3d capability was a really nice extra that seemed almost "free" considering the price tag.
Great peformance for a low price
The image quality is good with no artifacts or ghosting during fast action. Overall brightness isn't bad but other manufacturers have better offerings in this department. Color reproduction seems good and blacks are deep and uniform. This TV also has an ambient light sensor that is used to adjust the back light brightness dynamically depending on the light in the room and the brightness of the image.
Pretty good quality for a very good price
Let me start by saying that my television came promptly and in one piece, two days after ordering. I was very happy about that, and even happier that it wasn't busted up into fragments during shipping- so order with confidence.
As for the television itself, the picture is pretty amazing. Some say you can't really tell the difference between 780 and 1080 with televisions of this size, but comparing it to my roommates television of the same size, mine looks clearer and crisper.
Fantastic TV ... with only one possible issue
The picture is beautiful after calibration, and with energy saver mode turned off, obviously. I found that the TruMotion feature works under certain conditions, mostly for TV broadcasts. For DVD and Bluray, I had to turn it off - because, even though it did seem to make the image appear sharper (especially for DVD material), I just couldn't get used to the SOE. Suddenly, the Mentalist characters looked like they wandered onto the set of Days of Our Lives. Just too distracting.
Best TV I have ever had!!!
I do not own this particular TV... but I do own a Vizio 32" Smart TV. I purchased my Vizio over over a year ago; I bought it before the SMART TV's came out. I was surprised that it had Internet Hook-Up. It wasn't until a few months later that they came out with SMART TV's!! That is when I realised that I had a SMART TV with my 32" Vizio!!! I love it. The picture is great... the app's that I can download on the tv are amazing. (I can play, "darts," on my television).
I've used this product for a full day and I am blow away from what it delivers. I bought this TV for heavy gaming (PS3 & PC), watching Dish Network Satellite channels, and Blu-ray movies. I've tested each of these criteria on the Sony KDL40BX450 and have seen amazing clarity. There are also lots of features that it has which add to your personal viewing experience (i.e. different aspect ratios, scene selects, equalizer, etc.).
The motion performance is lackluster
While the Sony Bravia KDL-46BX450 (MSRP $699) is not the worst TV we have ever seen, it did not manage to impress us at all. This TV's performance results were below average in many categories: color consistency, motion, and viewing angle. To add insult to injury, accessing USB media files did not work properly on this Sony.
Some of the highlights of this TV include its simple menu interface, its stellar user manual, and the decent audio.
