Not worth the money
I purchased this product two weeks ago. At first I liked it. The graphics were A bit dull but I got used to them. I liked the menu xon the nav screen, it would show me the mile marker I was at, how far to the next rest area and how far to the next travel center. What I didnt like was the system freezing up and I had to use a paperclip to restart it. It also didnt tell me to take a truck route when dropping into the LA area.
I am sorry that I had anything to do with this product and the false sale pitches that I received. I was informed that this GPS had Blue-Tooth, was pro for trucks, however it does not have Blue-tooth and mixes automobile directions with some truck info, therefore it will really get a 18 wheeler in trouble by putting the truck into a INACCESSIBLE and/or llegal position. I drive in a very noisey environment therefore I must have verbal feed to my ear.
Very help full
I qualified this GPS with 4 stars becouse is very help full give's me a good route for even straight truck and semi truck and kept track of my driving miles with out programed to do so, the aura service makes me tough that it will detect radar traps from Highway patrols but is not like that, it tells you oneradar trap happen there and sometimes police is not there but it might be so I slow down, scales sites very good too the only thing I dont really like is that some adress's I looking for...
I looked at many gps systems and found COBRA to probably be the best. I wanted a large screen because I didn't want to have to squint or try and make out where I am going at freeway speeds on a four inch screen. This one is seven inches and that is easy to see. I can push enter my settings or searches or I can use a remote. I can sit back and use the remote to go where I want. Ease of use is there... for locations I can set it to home and push hoome and it goes there.
Good, with a few glitches
I actually love the Cobra GPSM 4000 Nav One. However, there is a problem it has that is not just some small problem to me. On several occasions, it gives the incorrect names for exits. The saving grace is that the distance until you reach the exit is correct. For example, I needed to take interstate 64W. Exit 64W was 1 mile away, and exit 64E was 0.5 mile away. The Cobra told me to take exit 64E in 1 mile.
