Quite a pleasant surprise
To sum it all up, I initially bought these for their stylish look, and got very good sound-quality as a pleasant surprise. Overall, I am quite satisfied with my purchase, though I cannot say I would buy from SkullCandy again. Even though they churned out a gem in this pair, I can't say it really changes how I perceive them as a brand, especially with the cheapness I see in the cord and mic/buttons.
Expensive, Poor audio quality
The Skullcandy Aviator headphones come with endorsement by Jay-Z's Roc Nation, and that's as close to musical greatness as they get. Although we can accept their styling could be appealing to some, the audio quality falls far short of our expectations at this price point. Cheaper alternatives from Grado, AKG, Audio Technica or Sennheiser will serve you better.
Very stylish look, Pretty comfortable to wear
The Skullcandy Aviators were expected to be fancy, and they are. However, like other headphones that ride on large brands and associations with stars, the Skullcandy Aviators offer a fair amount of performance.
Sure, it's still pretty expensive at Rs. 9,990. Of course, there are more affordable headphones that offer superior quality and we'd recommend those, if you're only out for performance.
Stylish, Fair audio quality
Certainly visually impressive, the Skullcandy Aviators offer middling performance for a mobile set of headphones, but they certainly are far from ideal for the price you'd pay. Despite their fashionability, they have quite a few concerns that warrant pause before buying something.
Namely, they are not well-suited for a mobile phone due to their higher impedance of 65 ohms, making their performance hit-or-miss depending on your model.
