Great Sound - Clean Design
The Harman Kardon SB30 sound system is a great solution for those thin panel TVs with a great picture and poor sound. I considered a number of alternatives from Bose, Boston Acoustics and Polk audio before settling on the SB30. The SB30 offers very solid performance at a price point that is less then half the cost of a Bose 1SR. The sound is very good, the bass very strong, with the system being aesthetically pleasing.
Polished, powerful sound quality
There's no question that the Harman Kardon SB30 is a classy soundbar system, boasting stunning looks and sumptuous build quality not to mention powerful and polished sound quality that puts the vast majority of soundbars to shame.
Where it falls down is its lack of HDMI sockets and HD audio decoding, its fiddly operating system and the lack of surround presence with movie soundtracks, which falls below our expectations at this price.
I did many hours of research on which sound system I wanted to purchase. I currently have a Samsung sound system in my living room and like it a lot except for the software aspect of it is a little sketchy. I decided to go with the Harmon Kardon BDS 370 2.1 for my bed room because it is a simple and elegant system. I have no regrets on the purchase of the Harmon Kardon. It produces excellent sound at all volume levels and has all the features I need in a simple 2.1 sound system.
Awesome sounding, replaced wires
I have been using this Harman Kardon HKTS 16WQ 5.1 Channel Home Theater Speaker System for about 3 months now. They sound awesome, and make the home theatre and music listening experience very enjoyable. For their size, the surround and center speakers provide better range and solid tonal quality than I had guessed they would. And the subwoofer, although with a smaller driver than my other subwoofer, adds that low end sound tightly so its not mushy at all.
