Good audio quality for movies and music
The SC-HTB520 is not without its flaws, as it certainly hasnâ??t got the broadest array of connections and the small remote is a bit fiddly to use. However, it's very easy to set up - especially if your TV has an HDMI ARC port - and it manages to deliver excellent sound quality, that's both warm and beefy. Add in a stylish design, and you've got one of the better, mid-priced soundbars available right now.
Built-in surround sound processing
Although the SC-HTB520 is an affordable sound bar system, it also lacks features found on Sony's now discontinued HT-CT150 such as better connectivity and an LED display. If those features are important to you, Sony still has more expensive HT-CT350 model available. However, if you can live with the limited connectivity, Panasonic's offering does seem like a good no-frills approach to improve your TV and movie watching experience.
Stunning picture quality
The SC-BTT370 is a wonderful Blu-ray home cinema system, offering a terrific range of features and a stylish external design. Its sound quality might not match the punch and poise of a decent separates system but there's still a lot to like, such as the levels of detail, cohesion and openness within the soundstage and the effective new Cinema Surround Plus mode.
Very good picture and sound
Experts say that the 5.1-channel Panasonic SC-BTT370, a home theater in a box built around a well-regarded Blu-ray player, offers a compelling blend of features as well as stellar audio and visual performance. It's also a pretty good value, most say. Image quality is excellent with Blu-ray Discs and very good with DVDs. Audio performance also draws praise, though the home theater system lacks the punch of beefier options.
Great surround sound
Ordered this to go with the 50in gt25 panasonic plasma tv. You only need the one HDMI cable (make sure it is the latest ver that supports ethernet) to the set to receive audio from other sources on the TV. Make sure you enable ARC. I wish this unit had hdmi inputs but the TV had more then we needed and the sound is very good.
Built-in apps tend to operate slowly
The Panasonic SC-BTT350 is a mid-cost full HD 3D Blu-Ray home theater system. In promotion, Panasonic emphasizes the fact that this home theater system has 2D image technology applied to its 3D technology, so that the images are especially high quality, approaching the quality of original film.
Hi-def 3D playback
After coming to terms with the fact that the SC-BTT350 doesn't offer world-beating sound quality and only a fool would expect it to at this price you can focus on its many virtues, such as hi-def 3D playback, a packed feature list and exceptional ease of use. So if you're looking for a cost-effective, convenient way of getting 3D, hi-def and surround sound in one fell swoop, then the SC-BTT350 deserves a place on your shortlist, if not necessarily at the top.
Excellent Blu-ray and Blu-ray 3D playback
For under $350, this little Blu-ray 3D HTiB system is something special, offering a significant sonic upgrade from a TV's built-in speakers, and delivering video performance and features that are fairly astounding for its price point. It also provides an excellent source for 1080p and 3D content. The streaming options are a bit light but it has the important ones (Pandora, Netflix, YouTube, Amazon VOD).
Good integration of iPod dock
Panasonic's SC-BT200 home theatre system is a good choice if you're looking to team up a new big screen television with a separate sound system. It doesn't have the aural abilities of more expensive home theatre setups, but for its size and price a reasonable amount of features are included.
good old-fashioned speaker wire
Panasonic's SC-BT200 home theatre system is a good choice if you're looking to team up a new big screen television with a separate sound system. It doesn’t have the aural abilities of more expensive home theatre setups, but for its size and price a reasonable amount of features are included.
Simple to install right out of the box
The Panasonic SC-BT330 is a high-end all-in-one home theatre system with 5.1 channel surround sound. Like its younger brother, the Panasonic SC-BT230, the SC-BT330 features a Blu-Ray ROM drive with DVD/DVD-R/DVD-RW compatibility, an integrated universal iPod/iPhone dock and Audio Return Channel compatibility.
Feature list is terrific
Although the Panasonic SC-BT330 is by no means the perfect one-box system, there are certainly more pros than cons. Its feature list is terrific, the highlights of which are media streaming, Viera Cast and a built-in iPod dock â?? plus the HDMI audio return channel will be a welcome addition for those with compatible TVs.
Very few home-cinema kits manage to match picture and sound quality, with the latter usually the one to fall short. The Panasonic SC-BT330 is no different. Its audio can't quite match its impressive Blu-ray pictures, and, as you turn up the volume, it sounds increasingly raspy.
Not worth it
I bought this on sale at costco like others thinking i better jump on this deal. $90 off wasn't near enough. I think I would price this system at $150.
Pros: Sound quality, Front speaker stands.
Cons: User interface is pathetic. Old, slow, confusing and needs to be written by someone who speaks English.
Brittle, small gauge speaker wires. Every wire and cord was too short for my application.
Tall speakers have weak base support, easily knocked over
The Panasonic SC-BT235 is a high-end all-in-one home theatre system with 5.1 channel surround sound. Its integrated universal iPod/iPhone dock allows for simple iPod/iPhone connectivity while its WiFi connectivity (available in conjunction with a USB WiFi dongle, not included) allows for even greater media connectivity.
Stylish and convenient speaker system
If you're looking for a stylish and convenient speaker system that'll work perfectly with a 3D TV and 3D Blu-ray disc player, Panasonic's SC-ZT2 is worth considering. Its style and wireless speakers do come at a cost, though weigh this up against competitors' offerings to see what suits your budget best.
Features a wide array of online services that are actively being expanded upon
The Panasonic SC-BT230 is a high-end all-in-one home theatre system with 5.1 channel surround sound. It comes equipped with Panasonic's bamboo cone speakers which allow for a more responsive sound, a Blu-Ray/DVD/DVD-R/DVD-RW player and a universal iPod/iPhone dock for playback through the SC-BT230's 5.1 channel speaker setup.
Sizzling picture quality
Although we're impressed by the SC-BT230's range of features, sizzling picture quality and ease of use, it's sound quality is sorely disappointing. Normally we'd cut this system some slack based on its bargain price, but Sony's BDV-E370 manages to deliver better audio quality for a similar amount of money, as well as throwing a wider range of online content, 3D compatibility, auto calibration and faster disc loading into the bargain.
Easy to use
If you're looking for a convenient Blu-ray system with lots of features and cracking pictures, and you're not overly fussed about getting the best sound quality, then the SC-BT230 is worth a look. But considering what's in the box, £450 seems remarkably expensive particularly when you consider the lack of built-in Wi-Fi and HDMI inputs.
Surprisingly good sound from such a small package
For a small investment, this little HTiB system offers an excellent upgrade to a TV's built-in speakers, transforming your movie and TV viewing into a more cinematic experience. The system also feeds your HDTV with some fine 1080p HD material on Blu-ray Disc as well as a number of high quality web-based streaming options. Pandora internet music streaming is not available yet but should be coming this summer in a firmware upgrade.
The system ¢? ?
I bought this system to go with my Panasonic Viera 50" plasma. The system was very easy to setup, works great, and when new updates are released it automatically notifies you that a newer release is available. Then you just select the update option and leave it alone. Common sense should tell you not to turn it off or mess with anything while it is upgrading. The Viera-Cast with built in Pandora, Netflix, and YouTube is sweet! I am very happy with this purchase.
Weak bass response - includes a passive subwoofer in the set
The Panasonic SC-BT730 is a high-end all-in-one home theatre system with 5.1 channel surround sound. It shares many of its features with Panasonic SC-BT330, such as: an integrated universal iPod/iPhone dock, Audio Return Channel compatibility and a Kelton type sub-woofer.
Impressive bang for the buck
A home theater assembled from carefully selected components can sound amazing, but for most regular folks, buying and setting up that type of rig involves far too much time and effort. The SC-BT730 comes with everything you'll need, and once you get it home, the system should be up and running in less than a half hour. The components that comprise an integrated system can be tailored to work seamlessly together, and Panasonic has worked that angle here to deliver impressive bang for the buck.
Audio performance was very good
Initially the Panasonic SC-PT770 didnâ?? t really impress me with the lightweight speakers and frustrating wireless rear surround speakers. Once I got over those issues and actually started to use the system my ideas changed, since it actually worked very well. Audio performance was very good for what could be considered a budget oriented all-in-one system, and the iPod integration was great.
