Individual sounds seemed more defined, and the surround soundfield seemed more spacious
Vizio's S4251w-B4 is one heck of a deal for someone on a budget who wants the best surround experience for the buck in a convenient package and doesn't mind the minor hassle of running wires from the subwoofer to the surround speakers. Since the S4251w-B4 soundbar can learn the volume up/down and mute commands from your TV's remote control, the system can be configured in a way that anyone can use it without giving it much thought.
Remarkable sound quality for the money
Vizio's S4251W is one of the best values in audio we've seen in some time. It delivers the sort of features and control that users have been longed after for years now, and does it with style, finesse and surprisingly good audio quality. Sure, we could have done with some longer surround speaker wire lengths, and the sub can't reach low enough that it will tickle your undercarriage, but that doesn't change how much the system brings to the table.
Easy to set up - well illustrated Quick Start Guide
When taking the features and performance of the entire system into consideration, if you are looking for a home theater audio solution for a small or medium-size room that delivers a more accurate surround experience than a typical sound bar or sound bar/subwoofer combination, but is not as difficult to set up as, or has the clutter of, a system with individual speaker enclosures for each channel, definitely give the Vizio S4251w-B4 serious consideration - it is a great value for the price.
Impressed by the midrange quality of the sound bar
VIZIO's S4251w-B4 42" 5.1 Home Theater Sound Bar is a well designed component for your home theater that provides excellent value as well as sound. It also goes where few sound bars have gone before: providing true surround sound that doesn't rely on trickery to fool the ear.
Easy to install, easy to use, A winner
I highly recommend the Sony BDV-N7100W system. It's simple, but not simplistic. It works well, it has a nice array of useful features, the speakers are decent, and it's easy to set up and use. And most of all, the fact that the Blu-ray player allows you to skip to the main menu (or at least chapter skip) really lessens the usual aggravation that accompanies Blu-ray discs. This is an excellent product all around.
Stunning clarity, Precise timing and subtle detail
A fantastic all-in-one system that delivers excellent picture, sound and a variety of streaming features.
Seriously cute looking system
Sony has pulled off a minor miracle with the N7100W, combining a peerless feature count with unprecedented performance for a system of its size at a price that seems very reasonable indeed for what's on offer.
I bought this Home Theater System to go with my LG TV. What I like about it is the sound quality and the design. What I don't like is that it is a bit slow to respond. Every time I press a button on the remote, it takes two-three seconds for the system to process it. it syncs up nicely with my LG TV; I use one remote to control all the functions. Overall, It's a good product for its price.
Solid product for the price range
This product really met our expectations. We were putting no small change into a new Samsung TV and couldn't afford to upgrade a 10 year old A/V system from the ground up at the same time. By staying with the same manufacturer as the TV, the unit interfaced flawlessly into one remote control and we're sitting here delightfully enjoying a 3D movie. You could easily spend 3 times this amount for a clean A/V unit, speakers, and a 3D Blue Ray player.
Great System for the Price, Very Good Sound!
Recently got a Sharp 3D LED Smart TV and could no longer stand limiting myself to DVD. I went into my research with quite a few requirements the most important being the speakers needed to be hung using my existing threaded speaker mounts. This is the only sub $300 systems i could find that can be hung using threaded speaker mounts. Unfortunately in Sony's quest to make set up as easy as possible the speaker wires are hard wired to the speakers.
Great sound, Great picture!
The picture quality is very good, crisp, clear, smooth motion. Sound is very good as well can hear all pitches, highs, mids, and lows. Smarthub is not so great few apps work. The youtube app, only a small percentage of the videos will actually play but when you do eventually find the very few videos that will play it is pretty nice and fair enough video quality.
Terrific theater sound experience
I purchased this Sony BDV-T79 as an open box sale on eBay 2 weeks ago after a couple months of extensive research with both Samsung and Panasonic's competing systems priced in the mid to higher ranges of $300-500 as you usually get what you pay for. This is my first BLURAY player as it replaced an older Panasonic DVD player I'd purchased 3 years ago. The Sony BDV-T79 was on display at my local Costco but had very few reviews as this model was just released in the US a few months ago.
Alot of punch in a small package
After the easy installation and setup using a microphone for speaker calibration, I was simply amazed. You hear absolutely no distortion from any of the speakers, not even at maximum volume. I have this setup in a fairly large living room and the subwoofer provides hard-hitting clean bass. The only con I have is that the shiny black finish to the system attracts dust quickly. Don't pass up this system. Menu interface is awesome.
When I first saw the speakers, I said, I will ne returning these in the morning. They look small but they sound super clear. The bass is not the best but for the price range it beats all HTIB out there. It does not have any Hdmi in ports, and the speakers need screws or nails to mount on wall. I dont think they are brackets out there for this type. The internet is not wireless you need an adapter from samsung. If you have a small to medium room this will work great.
