Great sound, great price
Amazed at the sound! Blue ray and regular DVD upgrading is awesome! The bass is really shattering. Had to turn it down a notch. Living room is 14X20, perfect sound! I need to get some extension cable to put on the rear speakers they're about 6' short. I haven't done any online, hulu, etc. stuff with it as I don't use it. I bought the 3D for future replacement of our TV, will probably go to a 3D set next time.
Sweet surround sound
These speakers are awesome for the price that you pay! It has tons of features that make it amazing for the cost. Sure the bass isn't that loud, but it isn't that bad. These speakers can go pretty loud for that movie and gaming experience that you want! I would recommend these speakers for those who just want pretty nice surround sound for a decent price. Get'em!
Excellent product at an excellent price
Everything from the price to the shipping, to the speed, has been excellent. I cut the speaker wire and installed them in my wall, so I had a custom setup pretty much, but for the BlueRay and regular DVDs, and Netflix, it works just fine. It sounded great too.
Works great sounds great I really like the phillips brand I upgraded from a phillips 1080p regular surround sound to this 3d blu-ray one and sounds just as good. It's a LOT of surround sound for your money if you don't want to spend $1K+ on a high quality setup but still want a very good quality system to watch movies on this is a very good one to go with, you won't be disappointed.
Really Nice Setup With Really Nice Price,
Sony's Bravia line has yet to disappoint me. This home theater in a box is a really nice setup. It doesn't have the flexibility of a high-end receiver like a Denon or Onkyo, but that's not really what a home theater in a box setup is supposed to do. It has one HDMI output, but no HDMI inputs, and only one optical input. If you've got a newer model tv, that's all you need most of the time.
Best Bang For Your Buck
This home theater system is simply the best you can get at this price point, feature wise and of course SOUND wise.I was originally in the market for a sony system, but soon realized that for my living room which happens to be a meager 17*8 that would be too much and too price. Bottom line THIS is the system for you if u need ok sound for a small space.
Magnificent three-channel sound
If you're looking for a 2.1 DVD system that oozes style, offers a decent range of features and delivers magnificent three-channel sound, then look no further than the HTS6515. But if you're looking for a system that convincingly mimics a proper 5.1-channel soundstage then you may be disappointed by what Ambisound has to offer.
Ambisound does a good job
This is one of the best DVD upscalers we've seen in its class -- the sound quality from the 2.1 speakers is actually very good and Ambisound can make you think you have a full on 5.1 system at times. We quite like the styling, although we do think the subwoofer is a little bit too big. If £300 is within your budget, you could do a lot worse than this capable machine.
Good System for a Bedroom
This 5.1 DVD system has a specific niche - This system takes up very little space and packs a good quality sound for the price. I listen to music, view DVD's, and sports and movies sourced by an HD cable STB. The surround speakers do their job just fine. My test DVD that I used was Diana Krall's "Live in Paris". It is a standard 480p disc and my DVD player in the LR is also standard. The LR speakers are KLM with two 12" woofers in each and bright dome tweeters.
On the face of it, the SC-PT480 is a fairly unremarkable one-box cinema system, with an old-school DVD deck, understated looks and a seemingly basic spec sheet. But take it for a test drive and it's full of surprises sound quality is highly enjoyable, picture quality is terrific and there's a clutch of decent features to play with, including a built-in iPod dock, USB media playback and loads of sound modes.
Gorgeous piano-gloss black finish
Samsung's HT-X250 home theatre system pairs the dual setting design of the HT-X200 with a full 5.1 surround speaker set-up. The receiver can be placed horizontally, like a TV stand, or vertically, next to the television, and the display automatically rotates to match the position.
