Sound is very good, but the features are what really sell it. Although the interface can be a little clunky, the ability to watch amazon video and use pandora without plugging in a computer is great. Also first thing you should do after buying this system is get the App. Not only does the app give you quick access to volume and arrow keys, it also gives you a full duplicate of the actual remote AND quick control over the audio settings like base level and equalizer.
Simple to set-up, simple to use
Given its $399 suggested retail price, the SC-BTT195 offers a whole lot of bang for the buck. It sets up quickly, providing a 3D-capable Blu-ray player and provides access to a nice selection of audio and video streaming services. While the speakers seem a little flimsy, for the price this can be overlooked, especially for anyone who loves movies but lacks the budget and space for a full-fledged component home theater system.
Very good detail, color, contrast, and black levels
The SC-BTT195 is a good option for those looking for a modestly-priced all-in-one system to enjoy Blu-ray, DVD, internet streaming, and to enhance their audio listening experience, especially for movies, in a smaller room environment. For a home theater-in-a-box system in its price class, it is worth consideration.
Sounds good for what it is
I've always been a seperate component owner. This is my first HTIAB, I was searching for wireless rear speakers, a much better option for me than just a soundbar (this is for the living room, I do have a Vizio VHT 510 real 5.1 soundbar in the bedroom, works great).
For starters, it's not a true 7.1, it's a 5.1.
Impressively feature-packed system
The Samsung HT-E6730W is an impressively feature-packed system. The Blu-ray player section offers 2D, 3D, and both internet and network streaming. The audio portion of the system is very innovative, featuring a vacuum-tube based preamp stage, as well as providing additional inputs, iPod connectivity, an FM stereo radio, and a twist on 7.1 channel speaker configuration that emphasizes front height, rather than rear back speakers.
Worst surround ever
I got rid of my Samsung home theater for this because it had blue ray and wi fi built in. You need the volume at max just to hear a movie on DVD or online. The radio volume seems to have plenty of power but nothing else does and I went thru 6 of them and they where all the same so I decided to live with it for now but last night while watching a DVD the picture went out . It's only 3 months old Pioneer is P. O. S. And if you buy this you probably won't be happy with it either
No option for mixing, matching or replacing speakers
Pioneer may have had home theater in mind with the HTZ-BD32, but if you're going to bother, it's probably better suited for those smaller spaces in the home. The build and the quality of the components just don't lend themselves to a larger space that you'll call your main home theater. However, who wouldn't appreciate having a full set of speakers, a Blu-ray 3D player and streaming services in spot like the bedroom or playroom?
Comprehensive feature range
We love the HT-E6500W's hugely generous range of features and its stylish, living room friendly design, while its connections, format support, streaming functionality and Blu-ray picture quality are all up to scratch. And for the most part its sound quality is too, with the valve amp tech lending dynamism and punch, although evidence of brightness (particularly at loud volumes) rains on the parade.
Speakers themselves have no grilles of any kind,
What can I say about the Samsung HT-E6500W Vacuum Tube Home Theater System at a little over $700 retail, other than "Skip it"? I mean it, don't even waste your time or be fooled by its supposed "audiophile sound quality" - there isn't any to be had. I found nothing redeeming about the Samsung HT-E6500W system and, if you're looking to get into home theater, there are better, more affordable ways to do so.
Impressive overall fidelity for an HTIB
Samsung should be commended for raising the bar for HTIB systems. While the HT-E6500W can't be considered a high-end audio system by audiophile standards, it does handily outperform most single-box solutions. If $600 seems a bit pricey for an HTIB, consider the fact that the system includes a Smart Blu-ray player worth at least $150 on its own, and pairs it with a capable, convenient audio solution with the ability to switch between two external HDMI sources.
Looks nice, sounds great
I got this yesterday and was able to get it hooked up easy. the rear cables are just long enough for the rear speakers. front, center and woofer have plenty of wire. i have nothing but samsung tv's so the remote replaced my tv remote out of the box no programing. if you use a optical cable it know's to use that for the audio without any setting changes by you either. less work from me is always better. the wireless is good too.
System is easily set up and has good connectivity options, hooked up to satellite reciever and xbox as well as TV. Connected to wireless network easily. Sound quality is better than average, but not spectacular. The wireless rear speakers make installation a breeze, but are somewhat weak in sound delivery. Disappointed that there is not a multiple disk changer, and the single drive is slow loading.
Excellent product at an excellent price
Everything from the price to the shipping, to the speed, has been excellent. I cut the speaker wire and installed them in my wall, so I had a custom setup pretty much, but for the BlueRay and regular DVDs, and Netflix, it works just fine. It sounded great too.
Good Basic Home Theater System
This product is performing as advertised. I did not want to spend $1000 on a theater system for a $500 TV (which I recieved for fathers day - Panasonic 50" Plasma) The connections were very straight forward.. The "On Screen" set up went pretty well. Running Cable Television shows thru the Sony Audio made the sound better than the TVs speakers.. and When playing a DVD we were amazed at the quality of the sound coming out of those little speakers.
Works great sounds great I really like the phillips brand I upgraded from a phillips 1080p regular surround sound to this 3d blu-ray one and sounds just as good. It's a LOT of surround sound for your money if you don't want to spend $1K+ on a high quality setup but still want a very good quality system to watch movies on this is a very good one to go with, you won't be disappointed.
