Great sound, great price
Amazed at the sound! Blue ray and regular DVD upgrading is awesome! The bass is really shattering. Had to turn it down a notch. Living room is 14X20, perfect sound! I need to get some extension cable to put on the rear speakers they're about 6' short. I haven't done any online, hulu, etc. stuff with it as I don't use it. I bought the 3D for future replacement of our TV, will probably go to a 3D set next time.
Sound is very good, but the features are what really sell it. Although the interface can be a little clunky, the ability to watch amazon video and use pandora without plugging in a computer is great. Also first thing you should do after buying this system is get the App. Not only does the app give you quick access to volume and arrow keys, it also gives you a full duplicate of the actual remote AND quick control over the audio settings like base level and equalizer.
Simple to set-up, simple to use
Given its $399 suggested retail price, the SC-BTT195 offers a whole lot of bang for the buck. It sets up quickly, providing a 3D-capable Blu-ray player and provides access to a nice selection of audio and video streaming services. While the speakers seem a little flimsy, for the price this can be overlooked, especially for anyone who loves movies but lacks the budget and space for a full-fledged component home theater system.
Very good detail, color, contrast, and black levels
The SC-BTT195 is a good option for those looking for a modestly-priced all-in-one system to enjoy Blu-ray, DVD, internet streaming, and to enhance their audio listening experience, especially for movies, in a smaller room environment. For a home theater-in-a-box system in its price class, it is worth consideration.
Excellent hi-def pictures
The Panasonic SC-BTT190 is a solid Blu-ray system but not one of Panasonic's best. Aesthetically it doesn't inspire the same levels of excitement as an LG or Samsung, its sound quality loses polish at volumes other speakers take in their stride, and the lack of HDMI inputs and built-in Wi-Fi makes the step-up SC-BTT290 a more appealing prospect.
Worst surround ever
I got rid of my Samsung home theater for this because it had blue ray and wi fi built in. You need the volume at max just to hear a movie on DVD or online. The radio volume seems to have plenty of power but nothing else does and I went thru 6 of them and they where all the same so I decided to live with it for now but last night while watching a DVD the picture went out . It's only 3 months old Pioneer is P. O. S. And if you buy this you probably won't be happy with it either
No option for mixing, matching or replacing speakers
Pioneer may have had home theater in mind with the HTZ-BD32, but if you're going to bother, it's probably better suited for those smaller spaces in the home. The build and the quality of the components just don't lend themselves to a larger space that you'll call your main home theater. However, who wouldn't appreciate having a full set of speakers, a Blu-ray 3D player and streaming services in spot like the bedroom or playroom?
I bought this for my mother & father for Christmas. Both are in their mid-80s and live in a town-home community with mostly other adult residents. They live in another state so I was concerned about having to maintain the system from my remote location but, so far, this has not proved to be a problem. The system was very easy to set up. It took about 2-3 hours to get it up and running.
Excellent product at an excellent price
Everything from the price to the shipping, to the speed, has been excellent. I cut the speaker wire and installed them in my wall, so I had a custom setup pretty much, but for the BlueRay and regular DVDs, and Netflix, it works just fine. It sounded great too.
I love this system for the price you cant find a better system with all the same features the sound is great, clear and perfect for my living room for movies and gaming it makes even regular dvd's look almost blue ray quality as far as the 3D goes i havent got the chance to use it yet (my 3D T.V. wont be here till Tue.)
Works great sounds great I really like the phillips brand I upgraded from a phillips 1080p regular surround sound to this 3d blu-ray one and sounds just as good. It's a LOT of surround sound for your money if you don't want to spend $1K+ on a high quality setup but still want a very good quality system to watch movies on this is a very good one to go with, you won't be disappointed.
The Panasonic 770 is a nice system. It was simple to set up out of the box. The rear surround speakers needed to be placed on a wall opposite the receiver/player and you need an electric outlet nearby. The sound coming from the rear speakers is light but the system in general is light but perfect for my living room of 18'x14'. Otherwise, the system is not intended to blow off the clothes of a woman only to provide enough sound level for your enjoyment.
Plays virtually everything: CDs, DVDs, Blu-ray and Blu-ray 3D
Panasonic's SC-BTT770 offers an easy "set it and forget it" type of install, and an absolutely state of the art Blu-ray 3D player as well as a nice selection of internet streaming options. The wireless speakers are also a nice touch, spreading some of the discrete surround sound to areas where it would be otherwise impossible without visible speaker wires or complicated in-wall wiring.
