Impressive unit for the cost
I still prefer my original system as I could pick and choose which speakers, subwoofer, receiver, blu-ray player I wanted. I don't generally buy package type deals. But for the money and what you get this is definitely worth it if you are on a budget or want something for another room without spending big bucks.
Very good sound, a couple of minor flaws
I got this as part of a promotional deal with my LG 47LM6700 3D TV. It is not being used with that TV since I have a proper surround setup in my family room. I am using it in my bedroom with the Samsung TV the LG replaced. One thing about sound bars is that they usually need to be placed in a square or rectangular room to get a good simulated surround effect. My bedroom is sort of an odd shape so I wasn't expecting much.
Impressive bass performance
The LG NB3520A is a strong soundbar offering from LG. It looks attractive, and thanks to its reasonably-sized display, it's also easy to use. The system offers a good range of features too, with Bluetooth support a particularly welcome addition. The 300 watt total power output also means it's capable of delivering neighbour bothering levels of audio even when used in larger rooms. While the 3D sound mode could be better, on the whole it delivers satisfying sonics.
Large, versatile sound
As an upgrade to basic TV sound, the LG is more than a just step up â?? it
offers a quality and authority thatâ??s very impressive. The £250 price-tag is equally convincing â?? and this soundbar set-up is definitely worth every penny.
This system works really well in my home. The sound quality is nice and plays both DVDs and Blu-rays nicely. Sometimes there is a long delay in starting the movies (this should be normal, some players take a couple minutes to load), but most of the time it starts right up. I enjoy using this system to watch movies with my little boy.
I love this system for the price you cant find a better system with all the same features the sound is great, clear and perfect for my living room for movies and gaming it makes even regular dvd's look almost blue ray quality as far as the 3D goes i havent got the chance to use it yet (my 3D T.V. wont be here till Tue.)
Great sound well worth it
I've had this one for a month now. The system is not bad and works well with my LG TV via SimpleLink.
The sound coming from front is very good. However, the sound from back speakers sometimes give out a feedback.
I noticed feedback mostly on old movies. New blueray flicks don't give feedback.
Overall, lots of great options. Bluetooth worked good with my Galaxy S 2 but you cannot control it from the player - must use phone.
Internet apps like Netflix work well.
Nice for the price
Great surround sound system. I was surprised about how well the wireless back speakers worked. My experience with past systems always had a delay on the wireless back speakers, but I do not notice any delay or degredation of sound quality for being wireless. The system definitely has a faster load time than my previous Blu-Ray players. I did have a hitch starting Game of Thrones on this player.
There were not many reviews when I purchased this product and I have to admit I found that feedback a little misleading. The only area of disappointment was sound volume, it just did not live up to my expectations. I'm using the sound bar in a very small room and it's certainly loud enough to carry the room for normal TV viewing, but using this outside of a small room would probably leave much to be desired.
Poor sound, no bass
Oh my this is bad. I was excited to get this based on the simplicity and the blue tooth. I have a 55" Samsung 6050. I was shocked to hear that this LED TV rocked in comparison to he LG sound bar. The bottom line is it not worth the money (any amount). it sounds like the am/fm from my 69 mustang, after it went bad. The set is is super easy to set up though. Make a connection and away you go. In minutes you can begin to experience the lovely sounds of tin cans.
