Great sound well worth it
I've had this one for a month now. The system is not bad and works well with my LG TV via SimpleLink.
The sound coming from front is very good. However, the sound from back speakers sometimes give out a feedback.
I noticed feedback mostly on old movies. New blueray flicks don't give feedback.
Overall, lots of great options. Bluetooth worked good with my Galaxy S 2 but you cannot control it from the player - must use phone.
Internet apps like Netflix work well.
A solid offering
If we had to describe the Klipsch HD Theater 600 is a few words, we'd call it a solid offering. While the 33Hz low end rating seems a bit optimistic to us, the price tag certainly is right. At $600 for a full 5.1 system, the Klipsch HD Theater 600 is sure to introduce a lot of people to the Klipsch brand and, more importantly, the Klipsch sound. And once they get a taste for it, they'll be more likely to stick with it.
The DHT-1513A surround sound system is better than the other options offered by the local big box stores, and cost less. I bought a new 60" Samsung led lcd tv and the sound was awful. Rear speakers on the tv were inadequate. Anyway, this Denon amp is an intro version for Denon, but pretty good. The Boston speakers are also intro level, but also good. I'm very happy with the cost/value and the overall sound. I found the best price at Amazon, and trust them.
There are so many choices when it comes to surround sound systems. I went with Yamaha because they have a great record of producing really quality speakers and amps. That is exactly what I got with this product. The amp is great, much better than cheaper systems, the speakers sound very nice, they produce excellent mid and high range sound. The subwoofer is perfectly adequate and rounds out the system very well. There are plenty of HDMI connections to plug in your peripherals.
The Panasonic 770 is a nice system. It was simple to set up out of the box. The rear surround speakers needed to be placed on a wall opposite the receiver/player and you need an electric outlet nearby. The sound coming from the rear speakers is light but the system in general is light but perfect for my living room of 18'x14'. Otherwise, the system is not intended to blow off the clothes of a woman only to provide enough sound level for your enjoyment.
Plays virtually everything: CDs, DVDs, Blu-ray and Blu-ray 3D
Panasonic's SC-BTT770 offers an easy "set it and forget it" type of install, and an absolutely state of the art Blu-ray 3D player as well as a nice selection of internet streaming options. The wireless speakers are also a nice touch, spreading some of the discrete surround sound to areas where it would be otherwise impossible without visible speaker wires or complicated in-wall wiring.
I purchased the Panasonic SC-BTT750 5.1 Home Entertainment system and so far I have not been dissapointed. It comes with blue-ray, it's wireless, and the sound is adequate. The Netflix, and Pandora options that come with the online entertainment make this system very attractive in terms of having everything you need in an entertainment system.
I gave the system a 4 only because the speakers are good, but I don't consider them great.
Effective surround sensation when speakers are positioned properly
The Panasonic SC-BTT750 is a high mid-priced full HD 3D Blu-Ray home theater system. In promotion, Panasonic emphasizes the fact that this home theater system has 2D image technology applied to its 3D technology, so that the images are especially high quality, approaching the quality of original film.
Not worth it
I bought this on sale at costco like others thinking i better jump on this deal. $90 off wasn't near enough. I think I would price this system at $150.
Pros: Sound quality, Front speaker stands.
Cons: User interface is pathetic. Old, slow, confusing and needs to be written by someone who speaks English.
Brittle, small gauge speaker wires. Every wire and cord was too short for my application.
Tall speakers have weak base support, easily knocked over
The Panasonic SC-BT235 is a high-end all-in-one home theatre system with 5.1 channel surround sound. Its integrated universal iPod/iPhone dock allows for simple iPod/iPhone connectivity while its WiFi connectivity (available in conjunction with a USB WiFi dongle, not included) allows for even greater media connectivity.
Outstanding sound quality for a home-theater-in-a-box system at this price range
Overall, we were impressed with the HT-C6500's Blu-ray image quality, as it passed all of the most important test patterns and program material tests. Its operational speed wasn't great--it received a CNET speed rating of 74--but it should be plenty fast for most buyers.
Supports a wide variety of HD audio codec
The Samsung HT-C6500 is one of three multi-channel home-theater systems announced at CES 2010 by Samsung. All three models feature a retro, no-grill speaker design; Samsung's recently designed Crystal Amplifier Pro technology for more accurate audio; and DLNA compliance for sharing content over a network.
Lots of features
The 5.1-channel Samsung HT-C6500 is one of the better performers, and one of the better values, among all-in-one home-theater systems. It is built around a combination Blu-ray Disc player/amplifier that's widely praised. Experts say that picture quality puts it among the best mainstream Blu-ray Disc players.
Impressive package and an incredible value
A few minor caveats aside, the HT-C6500 is an impressive package and an incredible value. Quite frankly, I defy you to put together a home theater system with Blu-ray playback and media streaming -- not to mention 5.1 channels of surround sound -- of this quality for anywhere near the same price. The first home theater system I built with separate components way back in 1997 cost a heck of a lot more and didn't sound nearly as good.
Great HTiB System
I researched this system before it was released. Anxiously awaited it knowing it would be superior to all other HTiB systems. I am biased since I've always been a Yamaha fan but the fact is it sounds great in my house. I love that it can self calibrate with the microphone that comes with it. The sound is clear and precise and when I play a Blue Ray movie its awesome.
Impressive surround sound
The YSP-900 is a third-generation model from Yamaha's acclaimed range of Sound Projectors. It's the smaller of the two surround speaker systems currently in the range and is ideally suited towards 32in and 37in flatscreen TVs, and available with silver or black speaker grilles to match your choice of TV screen.
