Great Sound Bar for a Great Price
I was in the market for a better sound system since my TV speakers weren't loud enough for me. I decided on a Sound Bar because I wasn't looking to spend a huge amount for a home theater system. Also, sq footage-wise, my living room is not that big. I ended up with this Sony HTCT260, since my TV is a Sony as well and I wanted to pair up the remotes. I chose this particular model because of the wireless Sub.
Overall The sound is great. Very clear and crisp dialogue.
Ease of set up
The Sony HTCT260 offers some good features like the Blu-tooth option that works really well when streaming audio from a iphone or any other Blu-tooth device, which makes this an ideal docking sound system but without the dock. Set up is very straight forward and you can be up and running in minutes, the functionality of the wireless sub is ideal for those that are short on space and donâ?? t the untidiness of wires running everywhere as this can be placed anywhere in your room.
Impressive unit for the cost
I still prefer my original system as I could pick and choose which speakers, subwoofer, receiver, blu-ray player I wanted. I don't generally buy package type deals. But for the money and what you get this is definitely worth it if you are on a budget or want something for another room without spending big bucks.
Exceeded my expectations
I have had a 60" Sharp for 12 months which I love but the sound output of a flat screen is limited. I trialed the Bose equipment which was incredible but it came with a $1500 price tag which I could not really justify. So, I read and watched the online reviews and the Vizio seemed to be reasonable quality for the price.
This weekend I set it up which was as simple as they say.
Exponentially better than built-in TV speakers
We never had any doubts that Vizio's latest audio solutions would be appealing from a value standpoint. What was at question was whether or not these sound bars would sound good enough to keep folks from feeling urged to spend a little more in hopes for better sound quality. Having spent some quality time with the system, we have to say yes, it can
The average listener will be very satisfied with a SB4021M purchase.
Great Sound Bar and Sub
Got this brand new for a steal off of CL. I was a little apprehensive due to the lack of reviews of this product but decided to roll the dice...and I am glad I did. Like other reviews, the sound that this bar produces is clear and crisp. Super easy to set up. I have this baby hooked up to my Sony Bravia 46" in my large living room and it does not disappoint. Besides audio from shows and movies, I cranked out music from my PS3 and it sounded great.
Good bass performance
The Panasonic SC-HTB20 is a neat package and the flexibility of its design - it can be used either as a soundbar or traditional 2.1 system - helps broaden its appeal. It's also a good sonic performer for the price, but we can't help feeling it would have been easier to use if Panasonic had kited it out with a proper screen.
Build quality and versatility out of the box is among its greatest attributes
I must admit, I didn't have high hopes for Panasonic's new roughly $200 HTB20 soundbar system. That was my mistake. For what it is, the HTB20 is quite good. As a $200 upgrade to any HDTV purchase, the HTB20 doesn't disappoint and is worth every penny. I have a dedicated home theater, and yet I have kept the HTB20 hooked up just for casual viewing or listening when I don't want to fire up all the equipment or go through all the pageantry required for big-time movie watching.
Sounds good for what it is
I've always been a seperate component owner. This is my first HTIAB, I was searching for wireless rear speakers, a much better option for me than just a soundbar (this is for the living room, I do have a Vizio VHT 510 real 5.1 soundbar in the bedroom, works great).
For starters, it's not a true 7.1, it's a 5.1.
Impressively feature-packed system
The Samsung HT-E6730W is an impressively feature-packed system. The Blu-ray player section offers 2D, 3D, and both internet and network streaming. The audio portion of the system is very innovative, featuring a vacuum-tube based preamp stage, as well as providing additional inputs, iPod connectivity, an FM stereo radio, and a twist on 7.1 channel speaker configuration that emphasizes front height, rather than rear back speakers.
Surprisingly rich sound
Got this to augment the sound coming from our 52" LCD TV, which has meager speakers. HD set top box and Blu-ray player connected to the Yamaha with optical toslink cables. For action movies the sound has good punch with the bass remaining tight and manages to fill all corners of a spacious open floor plan living room-kiitchen area. Shows with dialogue emphasis get the "voice" option and this works very well.
Strong, Space Saving Sound
This Onkyo LS3100 Envision Cinema 2.1 Channel Bluetooth Speaker System in black finish is a terrific 2.1 sound system. Of course, you are not getting full surround sound, but your front speakers and subwoofer are always the most important part of a viewing/listening experience. Indeed, in many tight rooms or homes, a 2.1 is the simplest way to go.
The small receiver device has an optical audio input.
Good connections and features
The Samsung HW-E551 is an impressive soundbar system that gets it right on many levels. The split soundbar design is a genius touch, appealing to those who want a traditional two-speaker setup as well as people who like the idea of a single wall-mountable unit. The wireless sub, with its array of useful inputs and compact dimensions, is hugely convenient, while on the aesthetic front the silver finish makes it one of the best-looking soundbars around.
Great sound, weak remote control
Hooked into my Samsung with optical cable. WONDERFUL sound. The SRS is just as I remember it from my old Sony XBR. Would have given 5 stars, except for the weak remote control. Very low power. Have already purchased a programable remote to replace it. Would be nice, too, if "line-of-sight" was not required for the sub-woofer. BUT at $200, cannot really complain.
