Excellent call quality, Great Phone application interface
The KX-UT670 is the executive Android ( 2.2 ) IP phone in Panasonic's line of KX-UTXXX models for the hosted/open source market. This phone has no hard keys. Like some of the other Android based VoIP desk phones we've seen - the Grandstream GXV3175 and the CloudTC Glass 1000 come to mind - the KX-UT670 relies solely on its touch screen for user input.
Impressive and cool looking 7 inch touchscreen phone
The Panasonic KX-UT670 demonstrates how using an open platform like Android enables useful third party apps like TouchDown and LightTouch Reception. Besides the ability to customize and develop apps for the KX-UT670, the ability to control up to 16 PTZ cameras certainly gives this phone some niche applications such as a security desk or even an executive's home-based IP phone used when working from home.
Excellent audio quality, Responsive touchscreen display
The VVX 500 has a standard set of hard keys: a numpad with round buttons that are large and satisfying to use, buttons to control volume, activate headset, speaker, and mute, and finally, a button that takes users to the main 'Home' screen on the touchscreen display.
Great cordless VoIP phone
3 simultaneous calls and up to 6 cordless handsets, perfect for small business or home office.
Range and call quality is amazing. All the basic features: Speakerphone, Transfer, Intercom, Message Waiting Indicator, etc.
Setup was easy, since our VoIP provider (voiSip) was able to do it remotely in about 2 minutes.
My only suggestion to Panasonic would be to allow more than 6 handsets.
Great audio quality Easy to use joystick
The Panasonic TGP500 comes with a base station, an unassuming black box that you can mount on a wall or hide in the corner of a room somewhere, and one Panasonic TPA50 cordless handset. Each base station supports up to 6 handsets, and up to 8 different lines. Each base station can also handle up to 3 simultaneous calls to the outside world, but you'll be able to intercom between handsets without taking up any of your 3 open lines.
Changes made in web admin portal pushed to phone immediately
Speakerphone quality has also been noticeably improved. When we reviewed this phone with firmware version 00.0032, we found a distracting amount of white noise whenever we switched a call to speakerphone. We're no longer experiencing this problem with firmware version 01.133.
I purchased these items for both our US and European Operations so I could video conference with my other traders. Upon receipt of this device and upgrading the firmware to the latest it just got stuck. You wait three days to get customer support. End result they say send it back.
If you want to spend more time trying to get a device to work than actually making money using it, then get this phone. Going with Siemens. At least when you have a problem the turn around time is ONE HOUR !
Touch interface needs improvements
Whether you're on board with combining Flickr and desk phone or not, the GXV 3175 is an exciting product. The Internet browser application is the best one we've tried on a desk phone to date. GXV 3175 to GXV 3175 video calling worked seamlessly (no surprise), and there is evidence that video will play nice with others as well. The phone offers so many features that I'm sure we left a lot of stones unturned. Is it perfect?
Purchased 6 X2020 extensions and the X-50 server. 6 POTS line configuration. Easy install - the X2020 extensions configured themselves flawlessly. Wasn't aware that the system allowed for DID lines only for a VOIP configuration. Worked thru this issue by making a few simple configuration changes on the X-50.
An excellent VoIP Phone
Well, this Cisco phone is one of the top model in Cisco business series desk phones, so its no brainier that should work just fine. I have done my homework before purchasing it and I am very pleased with the quality of the calls. The phone is very easy to configure since it has a WEB API to work with. Compare this with 7xxx series of Cisco phone where it is almost impossible to configure the phone without Cisco call manager, this is piece a cake to work with.

There simply aren't very many comparators against which to judge Polycom's SoundStation IP5000. Most dedicated IP conference phones target larger conference situations, and cost considerably more.
There are a few small conference phones available from lesser known companies, but in this price range these tend to provide only analog or USB interfaces.
Better than Alternatives
Please don't judge this item by the other reviews. Most of the issues they are describing are related to their provider, or PBX. Overhead paging, call transfers, dropped calls, etc... are all problems with the system the phones are connected to, not the phone it's self. I suspect those reviews are from disappointed CEOs who don't know the difference between a handset and the PBX.

Naturally, we're most excited about the introduction of another entry-level phone with wideband audio support. With affordable IP phones that support wideband, more and more people will be able to experience first-hand just how good their calls can really sound. Hopefully products like the 335 will shift HD voice from a perceived luxury to the industry standard.
