Great Steam Iron
It's so lightweight that it's enjoyable to use and doesn't wear you out to iron a few shirts. The best thing about it is the steam. It steams so much and so well that I sail right through ironing and my laundry had never looked better.
If you're looking for an affordable, lightweight steam iron that does a great job then I think you would be pleased with this one too.
This iron is great, but remember...itâ?? s just a consumer-level self-contained unit. Those videos on youtube claiming to iron a shirt in three minutes are BS. You canâ?? t iron a shirt that fast unless you have a good quality steam generator, as well as a vacuum ironing board (or if the shirt starts out with the perfect level of dampness, in which case you donâ?? t need steam at all.)
Cheap and pretty, and does a perfect job
I just moved to CA from across the ocean, so I had to order a lot of basic household stuff, all at once, so I was going for something very cheap and basic - and this steam iron went far beyond my expectations. I thought it would be quite light weight and I think lighter irons don't do such a good job, but this one is heavier than you would expect.
Great for last mintue ironers
I absolutely love this iron, I have always purchased Rowenta products because i find there brand to be reliable. But this iron really takes it to the next level. The iron takes moments to heat up, it is easy to use and great for all fabrics. The new eco boost function is great and gets the steam really going fast. I would recommend anyone that loves a steamer but wants the versatility of an iron to get this product.
This iron is great! I ordered it because my other one just like it was worn out! I have never had any troble with it. I had it over 5 years and I dropped it a few times otherwise it would have been just fine. This iron has a lot of steam holes is not too heavy, it also has a very long cord that never gets in the way. I have also purchased this for a few friends. I love it.
Great steam iron
This DeLonghi can produce 4.5 bars/65.2psi. It's an iron with the most amount of bars you will be able to find at this price. It takes around 15 minutes to heat up. Unfortunately, you cannot see a water level gauge; however, I fill this up just before doing the ironing each time. I was amazed at what this steam iron can do. I can do napkins in about 30 seconds. A shirt takes a couple of minutes. I was able to bring this iron to the dining room and iron a table cloth with no problem.
The first noticeable thing about the Electrolux is its size. It's big. In fact, we have a built-in wall-mounted ironing board, and now that I'm using the Electrolux, I can no longer store the iron inside. The door simply won't close, no matter how its oriented. Is this a bad thing? Well, it's a tad annoying, but not the end of the world. So the iron gets stored on a nearby shelf instead. No big whoop.
