HP and Canon, along with other manufacturers like Brother, Epson and Kodak, have been implementing the latest technology on all their printers, especially their all-in-ones. Due to the shutting down of Kodak's consumer business, they will stop selling inkjets from 2013. Some of the latest printers from Samsung offer cost effective printing through their single-function, entry-level-multifunction and mid-range multifunction printers.
Some of the latest printers from HP have been released under the LaserJet product lines with advanced duplex and network features which are also cost and energy efficient. Along with the new WorkForce series of printers for small and medium businesses. Epson has released new portable and stationary printers in mid 2012 which are ideal for business usage of various kinds.
