Solid color and grayscale performance
The Acer B296CL is a reasonably priced 29-inch Ultra-wide monitor offering a generous selection of ports, solid IPS color performance, and an ergonomic stand. Its issues - the panel loses some luminance when viewed from an extreme vertical angle, and the monitor does not have an auto-rotate feature - are few and minor.
Even better than it looks
This monitor is even nicer than it looks. I ordered it for my mom when her old monitor broke. She uses the computer for emails, web surfing, Skype, watching some online tv, etc. I love that this screen goes all the way to the edges with no bezel surrounding it. The actual picture display goes almost to the edge. Such a sleek looking monitor. HD movies look awesome. Very happy.
Good value for money
The Dell UltraSharp U2412 delivers very good value for money and will appeal to anyone who needs to spend a lot of time in front of their monitor. It's not a multimedia display, but its excellent display quality and ergonomics make it great for design, long-term office use or gaming. Above all, it's an absolute pleasure to use.
Excellent performance in both detail and colours.
The Dell UltraSharp U2412M, as it turns out is a brilliant monitor. Priced at Rs. 23,000 in India, the U2412M is a tad pricier than some IPS panels out there. There are a few things, however that make this display stand out - excellent performance in both detail and colours - play a major part. But we wish the minor backlighting wasnâ?? t present.
The 24-inch Dell UltraSharp U2412M widescreen LCD monitor has yet to be widely reviewed, but those that do weigh in give it glowing reviews for all-around use. Contrast, color accuracy, adjustability and low power consumption all come in for praise. The LED backlight helps make the monitor very thin and also energy efficient. Screen uniformity isn't perfect, but backlight bleed is at a minimum.
USB port on the side is easy to access, works well
The Dell P1911 is an entry-level 19" LCD computer monitor with a native display resolution of 1440 x 900 and a 16:10 aspect ratio. It also features a 5ms response time, a dynamic contrast ratio of 50,000:1 and an integrated USB hub with one USB upstream port and four USB downstream ports.
Lacks Full HD compliance - only capable of displaying 720p video content
The AOC e2043Fk is a lower mid-cost LCD computer monitor. One of the focuses of this Energy Star compliant monitor is power efficiency, and the Standby Mode only takes up 0.1 watts of power. The five millisecond response time helps to ensure that you do not waste time and energy waiting for content to drag by.
Impressive eco credentials
The E231W is an impressively flexible and eco conscious display, but it isn't complemented with similarly impressive performance. While it is possible to establish a good image through manual adjustment, many of the environment and automatic settings can be frustrating to work with, so if hassle-free picture quality is more important that the other benefits on offer, it may disappoint.
Fabulous IPS panelâ?¨ and impeccable build quality.
Twelve hundred British pounds is a huge amount of money for a monitor. But the HP ZR30W is an awful lot of screen. In fact, it's impressive even before you flick the power switch. It's solidly hewn from quality plastics and sports a cool-feeling brushed alloy bezel surround. Admittedly, the styling is rather corporate, but there's no denying the engineering integrity.
