Decent color accuracy and contrast
While the ViewSonic TD2340 is most definitely a niche product, the asking price is fair, and the quality of the hardware is a commendable step in the right direction.
An Exceptional Monitor
I had my doubts about this monitor; but for the price and considering all of it's features(and I REALLY like the controls being at the base), I'm quite fond of it.
The picture quality is astounding, I was worried as a gamer that I may notice ghosting(something I tend to pick up on very easily); but there are no such issues. No dead pixels, extremely easy to pull out of the box, put together and hook up.
Excellent image quality
The budget end of the monitor market is suddenly rife with quality 23- to 24-inch 1080p screens with cheap IPS panels in them. You've got to love the fact that you can pick up a full HD screen running one of the best monitor technologies out there for just over a ton. It certainly makes a huge difference compared to the weak, washed-out 24-inch TN panels we were once grateful to pick up for around £200.
Loaded with features, Energy efficient
For businesses seeking a full featured monitor that is budget-friendly and inexpensive to operate, the Viewsonic VG2437mc-LED is a good bet. It offers good colour and greyscale performance and lots of features, including an ergonomic stand and a built-in webcam. Its motion handling prowess makes it ideal for after-hours use as well.
The monitor works great easy to use and setup and looks very good. I bought it mostly to play my PS3 and switch to my desktop computer. The monitor supports 2 simultaneous hdmi connections (up to 3 total if you also use the vga connection for a pc) which makes it easy to enjoy the highest settings on my devices. When you stop nit-picking everything and realize that game menus aren't everything, the graphics look great on my games and cpu and above all performance is VERY SMOOTH .
Wide viewing angle
Sure, the HP 2311xi's In-Plane Switching panel affords it wider viewing angles than what most 23 inchers enjoy, but that's not what makes it a compelling potential purchase. It's the fact that it has this powerful IPS panel with a price starting at a low $240. That's cheaper than even some Twisted Nematic (TN) monitors, which usually sport pretty low prices.
Great IPS monitor
Moved to a dual monitor system and I wanted monitors with an IPS panel display (best for photo editing). I was a tad sceptical because of the relatively low price, but higher end IPS monitors can run $500+ each. Since I was buying 2, I thought I would try the HP 2311xi, and it turns out that I made a good decision. This is a great monitor!
This is a solid easy to setup monitor. It connects to the HDMI port on my laptop and a separate USB connection supports the touch screen features. It comes with a DVD which has the drivers and manual. Do not lose the DVD! I misplaced mine and called LG support who told me to get the driver from Microsoft! This monitor really shines when you use the driver on the DVD rather than the plug and play driver in Windows, and even more so if you take the time to calibrate the colors.
