It is becoming harder and harder to find a 4:3 aspect ratio display. In order to have the same vertical height as this 19" display, one would have to purchase a 24" wide-screen display (at a minimum). I like the tilt, swivel and pivot features and also the ability to adjust the height. Being a LED display, it is very energy efficient.
Very good quality! and decent for the price! However if you use a laptop smaller than 11 inch, there may be a problem to change to the right resolution. not sure why is that. but it worked flawlessly with my 14 inch laptop but it just wont work out on my 10 in laptop! But I assume I am the only one using a 10 inch?
I bought this as a 2nd monitor since I do a lot of work where I need the desktop space (writing a dissertation). This one blows the doors off of my main monitor (Asus VW266H) in terms of color, contrast, and brightness. I did not expect this to be so nice. It's very thin and light and thanks to LEDs it uses very little power (cool to the touch, front and back).
Works perfect for my needs
I have a monitor tree for four monitors. Two of my older monitors finally gave up the ghost. I had 1 other monitor that is very old and still needed one more. So far I've been happy with LG products that I've bought so I decided to go LG again. It's smaller than the one it replaced but once have the money I will buy the size I need for the tree position and move it up to replace a smaller monitor above it that is the oldest of all.
Not bad at all
Bought this for $119, brand new, from Buy.com. Even at Samsung's own web site, the price is listed $125. I thought this is at the low end of Samsung monitors and did not have much expectation. It turned out to be a rather nice product. The color display is quite good. I was annoyed at beginning not being able to tilt its angle of view. After calling Samsung, I found it actually can be tilted! (It would be so stupid not to have this standard feature.)
