Glossy piano black surfaces pick up fingerprints and dust easily
The 2310e is a higher-end 23" consumer desktop monitor from HP. It features a glossy black finish, touch controls, and an ultra-thin form factor. The LED-backlit LCD screen features a 1080p resolution and 8,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio.
Responsive touch controls
Cost-wise, the 23-inch HP 2310e is reasonably priced at S$449, but it is definitely not the cheapest one around (BenQ V2410 goes at S$399 a pop). Nonetheless, the monitor is a head-turner, with a rounded and more friendly-looking design. It is also extremely, further adding to the aesthetics. Above all, what we also liked about the monitor is that it comes with user-friendly controls, and a simple touch-based navigational interface.
Includes DisplayPort Connector
Those looking for a energy efficient and environmentally friendly display should certainly take a look at the HP 2310e display. The 23-inch panel with its LED backlit certainly consume very little energy yet still provides it with a very nice color and brightness level. The panel also has the advantage of being one of very few that support the DisplayPort connector which is useful for those wanting to use AMD's EyeFinity technology.
General use screen for web browsing
Iâ?? ve been using the 2310e for both business, gaming and Blu-ray watching pretty steadily for the last couple of months and have been satisfied with the results. Frankly, I enjoyed movies on the panel the most, but I can fully recommend it as a general use screen for web browsing. If being green is your thing, you can also be happy that the HP 2310e leaves a small footprint using just 20 watts of power most of the time.
