The range with 6.0 is double the old 2.4mhz cordless phone system. And the ability to buy $30 range extenders (up to two) makes range issues a thing of the past. The new features like Bluetooth pairing with up to two cell phones (only one can be used at a time) is VERY COOL and works well. The only reason this is a 4 star review and not a 5 star review is the instruction manual on this Bluetooth pairing feature is TERRIBLE!!
Easy To Program and Looks Great
It had been a while since we had a new phone and wanted something easy to use and could put in three different rooms.
We needed for the kitchen, bedroom and my husband's downstairs office. This works perfect for us.
Due to the man's office being downstairs and behind a closed door, we really needed something with an intercom which is why we wanted to try this. I need something that the kids and I can use to get in touch with him. Going up and down all day, is never good.
A Home Phone That I Actually Wanted!
I can make a call using my cellphone line, and make a call using the landline as well at the same time. So you won't be disrupted if someone clicks in.
The speaker quality and phone reception were fine, in my wi-fi/wireless surround sound/million wireless devices condo.
Great telephone for the elderly
This phone works great for my elderly aunt. The ring is loud and the programmable buttons are easy for her to use. Everyone at her nursing home wanted to know where we got it. We had it sent to our home in VA, programmed it and then sent it off to her in OH. It works great and even though she is very hard of hearing we can communicate with her and she can hear the phone ring,.
Good phone...with some quirks
the cordless handsets do not "sit" in the bases with "certainty". you just kind of place them there...and sometimes they almost fall out. Small issue, but one that could easily be improved with future models.
These quirks are minor and overall, I am pleased with the phone.
Great cordless phone, bluetooth sync easy, connects w/outlook contacts
All in all a great phone. It's also made of metal -- which feels very sturdy. It's great looking and set up was a breeze. Great ringtones. Easy sync with bluetooth and Outlook -- all pluses in my book. I would have given it 5 stars, if not for having the USB plug hidden under a removable back cover, having to read the manual, and also having to download new software. Otherwise, I'd highly recommend this phone.
This phone works as intended
This is a second phone I purchased for my MIL. The first phone still works, I just wanted her to have an extra one so she can leave one at home and take one with her while visiting her relatives so she would always have a phone to use. The programmable numbers is very helpful and the big number buttons certainly is very helpful to old eyes. Would be nice if it has an answering machine built in that can take TTY messages from the relay operator.
Great if your not expanding the handsets
The corded phone is beautiful; it looks great on the desk. The base station is easy to use and set up is a breeze. Call quality is good and signal strength with the wireless handset is very good.
The wireless hand set is not so easy to use. It has a very poor display with an equally poor resolution. Simple everyday features are hard to find. You will not be able to pick up this wireless handset and use it with any intinuity.
I also purchased six extra handsets at the same time.
