Excellent speed, Crisp output, Duplex printing, A variety of connectivity options
Other than the Eco mode, which Samsung claims can save up to 20 percent in paper and toner costs, there isn't anything all that special about the M2825DW. But that's OK. Just because it doesn't play music or make snow cones, doesn't make it a bad printer. If you want lots of bells and whistles, you should look at multifunction printers.
Great printer, expensive toner
This printer replaced a xerox color laser we had that was at its end of life. This printer is around 1/3 the size, but prints at the same quality and speed. Its great for printing reports in our office as we use colors to determine different items. We still use our black and white lasers for 90% of printing but for those times you need color you cannot beat the price on this.
Slow print performance
Though the Samsung Printer XPress C410W's NFC printing is a neat trick, it's compelling only in a world where NFC is everywhere. It's not. Of its other qualities, the look of the XPress C410W's output is its best suit and may compensate for the unit's mundane speed. We'd like this printer a lot better with more reasonable supply costs, thoughâ??at least a half-star better.
Good print quality
The Samsung Xpress C410W's NFC capabilities - a first for this type of machine - greatly simplify the printing process, as you don't need any apps or drivers. But with Samsung Mobile Print you could already print and scan remotely from your phone or tablet. However, here the lack of duplex and the high cost per page may deter some buyers.
NFC printing, Excellent connectivity including Wi-Fi
To be fair, Samsung doesn't position the C410W as a consumer printer - it's really meant to be used in a small business or small workgroup environment. If it wasn't for the extremely expensive supply costs, we'd recommend the C410W for a high school or college student - the print quality can produce very good documents containing text and graphics, and the Eco mode does save a bit of toner when you're printing draft copies.
Great printer so far and great value
So far, I've used the printer wirelessly and through a wired connection. I've only used the main paper tray and have so far not experienced any jams. Duplexing works well and print quality is what you would expect from a laser. It isn't particularly noisy and has eco settings to turn itself off when no in use. There is an eco toner mode as well, which can be engaged through a panel button or through the web-based administration interface.
Great copies first time out of the box!
Over the years I have had many different copiers which claimed they would be great. Well, this is a great copier, scanner, fax machine combination. Set up instructions were very poor and would have been better if the easy set up instructions were printed out with directions rather than just pictures.
That being said, the rest of the set up once you took away all the tape, foam, and other packaging materials was easy.
