Great printer, expensive toner
This printer replaced a xerox color laser we had that was at its end of life. This printer is around 1/3 the size, but prints at the same quality and speed. Its great for printing reports in our office as we use colors to determine different items. We still use our black and white lasers for 90% of printing but for those times you need color you cannot beat the price on this.
Slow print performance
Though the Samsung Printer XPress C410W's NFC printing is a neat trick, it's compelling only in a world where NFC is everywhere. It's not. Of its other qualities, the look of the XPress C410W's output is its best suit and may compensate for the unit's mundane speed. We'd like this printer a lot better with more reasonable supply costs, thoughâ??at least a half-star better.
Good print quality
The Samsung Xpress C410W's NFC capabilities - a first for this type of machine - greatly simplify the printing process, as you don't need any apps or drivers. But with Samsung Mobile Print you could already print and scan remotely from your phone or tablet. However, here the lack of duplex and the high cost per page may deter some buyers.
NFC printing, Excellent connectivity including Wi-Fi
To be fair, Samsung doesn't position the C410W as a consumer printer - it's really meant to be used in a small business or small workgroup environment. If it wasn't for the extremely expensive supply costs, we'd recommend the C410W for a high school or college student - the print quality can produce very good documents containing text and graphics, and the Eco mode does save a bit of toner when you're printing draft copies.
Easy Set Up
I did a lot of research comparing specs and cost-per-page before deciding on this printer. My short list included Brother, Lexmark, and this printer and I am happy with my decision. Features including 512MB RAM standard made this the best value in the $600-$700 price range. You can control the fax and scan from your computer and the printer has automatic duplexing, an automatic document feeder, and scanning or printing up to legal size.
Excellent Printer for Small Office
If you're looking for a small printer for a home office or small business setting this printer might be right for you. You'll probably be the type of person who is more interested in printing reports, finished professional products or documents instead of printing pictures of the kiddies to hang on the wall.
Good print quality, quick print speeds and easy to use.
To answer my earlier question, the Samsung CLP-775nd did live up to the previous generation CLP-770nd. The CLP-775 does everything well: good quality prints, standard duplexing, built-in networking, a large standard paper capacity and a functional Web server. Plus, Samsung throws in faster, more reliable print speeds, a 600 MHz dual core processor, a larger standard memory capacity and new software for a low initial cost (about $150 less than the CLP-770nd at its release).
Good, robust colour laser printer
This is a good, robust colour laser printer with cost-saving duplex print as standard, a reasonable turn of speed and above-average print quality. Print costs are in the middle of the field, becoming slightly better when printing colour, and it has the feel of a printer that will just sit there and do its job.
Toners are pricier
The CLP-670NDâ??s run-of-the-mill speed, features and print quality should allure to a workgroup or the small office with normal graphic desires. Unluckily, since the toners are pricier you need to supervise the usage carefully. The company offers 1 year of warranty.
Easy to setup
This is a small and good-looking colour laser multifunction printer. Itâ??s easy to setup â?? even for a wireless connection â?? quiet in use, produces fair print quality and sits in the middle of the field on running costs. However, it's slow when printing colour and has limited paper capacity. There are now plenty of colour multifunction machines, which take little longer to print a colour page than to print black text; this isn't one of them.
Good, all-round, workgroup machine
Samsungâ??s CLX-6220FX is a good, all-round, workgroup machine. It's easy to use and maintain and it has many of the extra features, such as full-duplex copying, which can save considerably on paper costs. Itâ??s slow to produce prints and copies, particularly double-sided ones. The machineâ??s key advantage, though, which separates it from its main competitors, is its excellent colour rendition of photographic images â?? very unusual for a laser printer.
fastest laser printer
This very inexpensive color laser printer from Samsung will fit the bill for small and home offices that need sharp and clear color prints. It's quiet but not all that fast, which isn't a major issue unless you need to print a lot. A networkable version (not tested) adds a level of convenience. It's not as stylishly futuristic as some of Samsung's other recent offerings, but it has a very small footprint. All in all, a good entry-level color laser printer.
So, even though the CLP-315 was not that feature-rich, it has an unbelievably low price, excellent performance, and low running cost. If you are looking for a super cheap color laser printer that performs nicely despite being light on features, then the Samsung CLP-315 will fit nicely in your home-office space.
Good colour rendition
Like its multifunction sibling, the Samsung CLP-620ND is very good at what it does. It prints black and colour pages at high quality, with particularly good colour rendition for a laser. It does it quickly, single or double-sided, with minimum fuss and maintenance is both reasonable in cost and quick and easy to do.
The Samsung CLP-315W is a full colour laser printer with built-in wireless connectivity that makes it easy to link several computers to the printer over a network.
The Samsung CLP-315W is a fancy looking wireless laser printer with a clean design and small footprint, but the output quality is unacceptable and the blisteringly slow speeds will have you searching for other options.
