Strong features and good paper handling
The HP makes some proud claims, and it more than satisfies the majority of them. Very cheap to run, and with a string of strong features and good paper handling, it works exceedingly well. Speed is searing too, outpacing many a laser printer. The text quality isn't quite as dark as we'd like it in order to place it on a par with good laser models.
Easy maintenance, Duplex print
The HP Officejet Pro X551dw really is a new concept in office printers and this machine is an excellent first offering. It's very fast, very cheap to run and produces high quality black and colour print on both plain and photo paper. It's reasonably expensive to buy, but not when compared with colour laser printers with anything like the same specifications.
High-speed, excellent quality, competitive running costs
It doesn't quite live up to HP's performance claims, but the X551dw is certainly the fastest inkjet printer we've seen so far. Its speed, quality and competitive running costs make it a good option for businesses that require a versatile, high-volume printer but can't perhaps afford a more expensive colour laser.
Best Color Laser On the Market
This Laser printer by Canon is awesome. It is fast, quiet, has energy saver on it which is a plus. I can take 2 separate sheets that is printed on one side and put them into the laser printer and have them print both pages on 1 sheet front and back to save paper. I love that option. The cartridges are easy to replace. And was easier to setup than I thought. I did not use the disks included, I went to the website and choose the latest drivers, for my iMac I use.
Direct USB port, wireless connectivity
The $399 HP LaserJet Pro 400 M401dw bundles all of HP's latest technologies into a tight package, but the 3.5-inch touch-screen display doesn't offer enough unique features to warrant the price jump to $400, especially compared with competing devices. Small businesses and home offices shopping for a reliable monochrome laser printer for quick prints should ignore the HP LaserJet M401dw's inflated price tag and look for a better deal.
Very quick, both in setup and performance
This printer has worked out fantastically with regards to being a wireless laser printer. Setup was a dream, and network integration is a cinch.
I do agree with the review above about the screen being fragile (very accurate, a misguided swing of the hand will have it cracked no problem). Honestly, though, once you get it set up the screen becomes rather useless, so folding it down is no big deal for me, as long as pages come out I am content.
Print quality, Web, Mobile Apps
Like the single function HP LaserJet Pro 400 M401dn, I found the LaserJet Pro 400 M425dn to be very functional. The print speeds were quick and reliable, the print quality was quite good and I find the web-connected and mobile applications to add value that some competitors can't match as of this writing.
And for only $100 more, you can get three additional devices - scan, copy and fax - as well as a 50-sheet duplexing automatic document feeder.
Produces exceptional photo prints for the price.
HP's LaserJet Pro 400 Color MFP M475dw is a solid product, with nice output, average toner costs, and middling speed. The company also sells a "dn" model that saves you $100 if you don't need Wi-Fi. If you're looking for alternatives, competing MFPs include the Oki MC561, Xerox WorkCentre 6505, and Brother MFC-9970CDW.
Great as office printer/scanner/fax
This unit was purchased for a small business from Office Depot. It is heavily used for faxing and printing. Occasionally we use the scanning function. Everything works great!!! Extremely fast. Warms up almost instantaneously. Never have to wait. Paper path is greatly improved from older units where paper kept on getting stuck. Toner price is great and much cheaper per page than other products out there. We have it set up on our office network and it works flawlessly.
Quality prints, Affordable, Good blend of features
The OKI MB471/MB471w are very competitively priced for what's being offered: four devices, print speeds up to 35 ppm, front side USB, a 3.5-inch LCD, built-in networking and automatic print, scan, copy and fax duplexing. When I searched some of the main competitors in this class - Brother, HP and Samsung - only Brother beat OKI on price but they didn't offer the RADF.
Good printer for home office. Really like the easy setup and that the scanner has TWAIN drivers and will scan directly into the PDF filer software I use. The print speed is not the fastest timed it on 55 pages of letter size text from the time I clicked print till completed was 5 minutes 22 sec this included the time it took to clean. Just printed a 160 pages it stopped to clean several times. Have used it for a month and had no issues.
Good quality print
The HP LaserJet Pro 300 Color MFP M375nw is a good-looking, serviceable colour laser multifunction printer, with good quality print, reasonable speed and cheap running costs - particularly for black print, which costs little more than for a mono laser. Its versatile facilities for mobile print may well swing your choice, though bear in mind there is no duplex provision.
Great product for business on the go
For my small mobile tire business, this printer is outstanding. I didn't want to worry about dried up ink jet printers and I certainly didn't want some huge power hungry laser printer in the small space my box van provides. So far i've printed 70 invoices for customers on the spot and they're very impressed with the results and that i'm able to print an invoice out of my van.
Hard to feed sheets straight
The Brother PocketJet PJ-663 is a perfectly adequate portable printer and convenient in some circumstances, as it doesn't require separate ink cartridges or other inking system. You do have to use thermal paper, which is a bit inconvenient and more than a bit costly, but the main problem is the price of the printer itself. The cheapest price we could find it for is just over £500.
We see no reason for this astronomical price, just because the printer sits in a niche market.
