This is a great product
I have the P-Touch 80 which is great but was in the mood for some more options which this has. The instructions are easy to follow and the love the frames and that you can make the labels any length you want. You have more functions to change on the fonts and it has little emoticons you can print which is really good if you don't want to say to much.
Excellent quality, Quiet operation
The main concern when purchasing a photo printer should be whether it prints quality photos reliably. We believe the Canon PIXMA iP7220 does print quality photos reliably, especially at this price tag ($99.99). We found the photo prints to be detailed, crisp and we found the color to be brilliant. We compared the original digital image on our PC to a printout of that same digital image, and found it to be remarkably close to the original.
I would recommend this print/scan/copy machine to anyone. The quality it puts out, combined with the price, make this little baby a real winner. Being this was a first experience with Canon printers, they've sold me. I couldn't be happier. If I left anything of importance to you out or you have any questions please feel free to leave a comment. I always try to help out where I can. And again, this little gem deserves very strong consideration.
Performance surprisingly good
I would go so far as to say that this printer is a solid bet for someone who needs something that works the way you ask it, when you ask it, and how you ask it. It doesn't hurt that the pricetag is only $149.99-even though it might be a bit more than what your average spender is looking to plunk down on a printer, the value of buying a good, consistent, and efficient printer is high.
Sure, it's not flashy, and what printer is nowadays?
Wireless, Fast, and Great Color
I'm not quite sure what else you could be looking for that you won't find with the WF-2540? Epson has made a top of the line, ink jet multi-function printer, perfect for a small office or home use that gives you wireless connectivity.
The Epson Workforce has it all, a flatbed scanner, copier functions, the ability to connect wirelessly from you PC, Laptop and Ipad, and a speedy printer that does not sacrifice quality. I've put this printer through it's paces already.
The Epson WorkForce WF-2540 All-in-One Printer is attractively priced, and the triple USB/Ethernet/Wi-Fi connectivity is appealing, but taken as a whole - Epson missed the mark with this one. Ink costs are high, and photo output is slothful and then some. Look instead to the Dell V525w or HP Officejet 6600 e-All-in-One Printer. Both units have cheaper ink and comparable features at roughly the same price.
Decent Value for the Money
In summary, this printer/scanner/copier should work fine in a home setting where compactness, quality and low cost are more important than speed. Some users complain that the standard ink cartridges don't last very long but each color can be replaced separately when a cartridge is empty. High-capacity cartridges are also available.
Low initial cost, Ease of use
I have to say I was disappointed with the Epson Expression Home XP-410. There are zero improvements on the previous generation Epson Expression Home XP-400 we reviewed last year. The design, print speeds and features are identical and I actually had more trouble with the photo printing on the XP-410.
And don't be surprised if you spend quadruple the initial cost ($99.99) on ink in the first year with a set of high capacity cartridges running around $80.96.
Good features and performance in a small size
The XP-410 is targeted at the home user who might also run a small, home-based business. It can produce excellent images with the right paper, works well for crafts, and is great for printing school and business reports. Print speeds are very good, as is the price. There's no fax capability or ADF, but given the reasonable cost and target user, we don't see this as a big deal.
A really great do-it-all printer!
This Canon printer is super wonderful! I also own the Canon PIXMA IP100 Mobile Photo Printer since Feb 2009. I love that printer because it was mobile, small and printed beautiful photos as well as documents. But lately is started to have a few problems (going to have it repaired) that I had to put it on the shelf for this new Canon MX452. I really wanted something that was 100% wireless without sending it a cloud. This printer does everything that is says it will do and more.
I am really impressed with this printer from Canon. It scans, prints, copies, prints 2-up, prints CD/DVD disks, etc. The included software is impressive and it is very compact for all-in-one device. It can be operated wireless or direct connect. I have it USB-connected to one computer and wireless to another plus an iPad. Setup on my network was flawless using the install CD and touch-screen operator panel.
Terrific and accurate color - when using Canon photo paper
As a photo printer with scanning and copying capabilities, the MG6320 will meet many - if not most - home users- printing needs. It's easy to set up and running, and it's good looking. But if you need high quality output on plain paper, we did not achieve this in our testing. If you plan on using the MG6320 to print photos or other high quality images for presentation purposes, stick with Canon's paper and you'll get good results.
It works well, good quality full feature printer
I like this printer because it works well and has important features. Prints come clear and fast. The wireless set up is easy, the fax works flawlessly, the copy machine too. I haven't tried the scanner yet, but I'm sure it will perform to satisfaction. The features that I like the most about this printer is its speed, the wireless capabilities (I can easily print from several laptops around the house and from tablets), the automatic feeder, and the double-sided printing.
