Very light and small
If you are looking for a small portable projector for the road to watch movies with or play files from a compact flash drive or SD card, then this could be the solution for you. If you need real clarity and you plan on spending many hours using this projector with groups, then make sure the content you are showing is large and graphical. It is definitely not the best choice for demonstrating financial planning in an excel spreadsheet.
Excellent choice for anyone who both needs a portable projector and needs to travel light
The emerging new category the ML500 is part of, and the ML500 in particular, fills a niche that needs filling, with an appealing balance of size, weight, price, and brightness. Compared to pocket projectors, it's only a little bigger and heavier, but it's a lot brighter. Compared to traditional lamp-based portable projectors, it's significantly lighter and smaller than all but a few, and less expensive.
High quality color and great constrast ratio
Purchased this when no reviews were available on Amazon or the wider web so took a bit of a risk. I had an old Optoma which claimed 3000 lumens, so I was a little concerned this unit wouldn't be bright. In fact, It's amazing.
Things I love:
* Tiny, literally, it's a true micro projector. Fits in palm of hand .
* Very bright, widescreen display, even at 4m in a light room. Incredible given size of projector .
* Easy setup and remote for keystone etc .
Definitely worth considering if you are a looking for something that can be used both at home or on the road
I found the Optoma ML500 to be a very interesting projector to use. It compact size makes it fairly easy to set up and it offers a variety of source inputs, as well as having its own built-in speaker. The ML500 also makes a great traveling companion as it and its accessories easily pack up it in its provided carry bag. You can also take a camera tripod along and use it mount and place the projector more easily in a variety of environments.
Wide range of features, but such flexibility comes at a high price
The Optoma ML550 certainly has a wide range of features, but such flexibility comes at a high price. It's much more expensive than the Asus P1M, but we think the ML550 justifies the extra expense as it not only connects to a far greater range of devices, but it can also be used in all types of lighting conditions. It wins a Best Buy award.
May fit in your hand, but has the capabilities of a behemoth
The ML550 is an extremely portable and very efficient projector. It's light and compact, making it great for anyone who needs to do presentations on the go. Despite it's small size, the ML550 delivers some great picture quality without compromise, and though it may be priced a bit higher than other projectors in its range, itâ??s certainly a worthwhile investment.
Highly innovated device, specially designed to meet your present and future needs
The Optoma ML550 excels in key features, and it offers additional features that will make your presentation a success. This highly innovated device is specially designed to meet your present and future needs. This is the brand that will help you deliver the best presentation ever.
Powerful, compact projector that packs a variety of presenting features into a tiny package
The Dell M900HD is a powerful, compact projector that packs a variety of presenting features into a tiny package. Its 30,000-hour LED light engine removes the need for lamp replacements, thereby reducing the number of things that can go wrong while you're out on the road. It has best-in-class connectivity thanks to its creative implementations of USB and WiFi projection.
Incredibly portable, and very convenient if you have a suitably equipped laptop, phone or tablet
The Dell M900HD is incredibly portable, and very convenient if you have a suitably equipped laptop, phone or tablet. It does get pretty hot, and a few more ANSI lumens would increase its versatility. Nonetheless, it compares very favourably to other similar models on the market, and will prove a great option for mobile executives and large businesses needing a projector that can service several rooms.
Works great with both PC and Mac
I just received this projector from Dell, opened the box and marveled at how small, i.e.: portable, it is. It weighs .8 pounds and easily fits in the palm of your hand. It's extremely easy to use with a PC - it comes configured to simply plug and play using an included VGA cable. Be sure your computer has a VGA port, or you'll have to figure out a work around for a connection.
Accurate color out of the box
The Epson PowerLite Home Cinema 750HD is an interesting proposition. While some users will be quick to write it off as a low-resolution alternative to the entry-level 1080p projectors in the marketplace, it distinguishes itself in several ways. It offers the best color available at its price point, it has full 3D capability, and it has more light output than either of its main competitors. This makes it a force to be reckoned with in the living room.
Excellent data image quality
If you're looking for a portable data projector, and particularly if you've been looking at an LED-based, 500-lumen model as something you don't love but might have to settle for, the Optoma W304M may well be the projector you really want. It's almost as light as 500-lumen models, it's a lot brighter, and it's only a little more expensive.
Achieves a large image from such a short distance from the screen
In conclusion, the Epson BrightLink 436Wi is a good choice for those looking for an affordable interactive projector that is easy to use and reliable. MSRP right now is $1490. When you consider how easy it is to get up and running quickly, along with the warranty and peace of mind that Epson provides in its customer service, the 436Wi is going to be a projector to give strong consideration.
Colors are eye catching, vibrant, and nicely saturated
The 436Wi offers more than enough to earn your attention if you're in the market for a 1280x800 interactive short throw projector. In addition to excellent data image quality, better than par video quality, and a suitably bright image, it offers a slew of welcome interactive features, including automatic calibration, the ability to use two pens simultaneously, and the PC-free mode that lets you interact with any image from any source or use the projector as a whiteboard.
A strong product that is sure to inspire generations of projectors to come
As a standard projector, the WD390U is fully-featured and well-made, putting plenty of light onto the screen and making presentations look vibrant and high in contrast. But it's the projector's network features that make it really shine, and it is people searching for a networked projection solution who should really sit up and take notice.
Excellent Picture Quality - Network Setup Complicated
The picture quality is excellent. I like the "short throw" image of this projector. However, even with an experienced, corporate level IT person, the networking is a glitchy, complicated process set up. The projector is set up on our network, hardwired using a LAN cable, with it's own IP address. I can see it and connect to it over the LAN from my desktop computer, which is on the same network. I can control it and project from my desktop.
Bright projection, can use in daytime
The LG PA75U LED Projector is beautifully designed and is the perfect substitution for those who cannot afford an expensive television set over 50â? ³. I set my projector at 80â? ³, but I tested it up to 120" and the picture resolution is still nice to stare at.
You can easily save money by purchasing this projector instead of a new 3D TV. You can get this projector for $649. You cannot find a great 3D TV at that price.
Great projector in every way
Paid less than $500 for this projector and had reservations as to quality for that price. I am very impressed though. I'm using it for home theater purposes and the white housing blends in nicely. It's also very quiet unlike other projectors I've had in the past. The picture quality is awesome for the price. I wish I could afford a 1080p system, but this is great 720.
High definition picture with high brightness
If you are looking for an entry level 3D compatible projector, the Optoma DW312 may be for you. With its high brightness, high definition picture, you will get a decent picture for that special presentation or home theater experience.
