We purchased these projectors for our church, which was using 2500 lumens, 10 year old projectors. The picture and brightness and amazing and everyone is noticing how clear the images are. Even the folks in the back rows can read everything from the large song lyrics to the small print of author and copyright information. These are great projectors!
Bright projection, can use in daytime
The LG PA75U LED Projector is beautifully designed and is the perfect substitution for those who cannot afford an expensive television set over 50â? ³. I set my projector at 80â? ³, but I tested it up to 120" and the picture resolution is still nice to stare at.
You can easily save money by purchasing this projector instead of a new 3D TV. You can get this projector for $649. You cannot find a great 3D TV at that price.
Best resolution and light output
I have seen dozens of the BenQ projectors from the SP890 series to this unit. They have a great Lumen output, and the resolution is outstanding for the price. I haven't found a better projector to date that is in the price range with the warranty provided. These are basicly the SP890 but the original SP890s had ballast issues that after several months would start blowing bulbs before they should. The firmware revision to this unit corrected the lockup issues seen on the SP890 as well.
Great projector in every way
Paid less than $500 for this projector and had reservations as to quality for that price. I am very impressed though. I'm using it for home theater purposes and the white housing blends in nicely. It's also very quiet unlike other projectors I've had in the past. The picture quality is awesome for the price. I wish I could afford a 1080p system, but this is great 720.
High definition picture with high brightness
If you are looking for an entry level 3D compatible projector, the Optoma DW312 may be for you. With its high brightness, high definition picture, you will get a decent picture for that special presentation or home theater experience.
Great color, high contrast, and excellent placement flexibility
The Epson PowerLite Home Cinema 5020UBe is the newest addition to the Epson home theater line, and it continues their tradition of fully-featured, high-value home theater projectors. Its bright picture combines deep contrast and vibrant color to create a picture that pops off of the screen, while its 3D performance has received a significant boost thanks to new RF-sync glasses.
Great color, high contrast, and excellent placement flexibility make the Epson 5020 series easy to like.
Good shadow detail, solid black level, and well-saturated color
The Acer H5370BD is perhaps the least expensive way to bring 3D into your home. At $549, this 720p projector is equipped for both home video and home theater, and its highly adjustable light output makes it easy to go from the living room to the darkened theater without a second thought.
Solid shadow detail and color
The Acer H6510BD may be the most affordable full 3D projector available today. At $799, it delivers an attractive image that's great for high-definition films and video in either a darkened theater or a living room.
While the W1070 has advantages over the H6510BD in several important areas, it also costs about 20% more than the H6510BD. Neither projector comes with 3D glasses, but both use inexpensive DLP Link eyewear rather than a proprietary solution.
