The photos were well-exposed with pleasing colors and low noise levels considering the resolution of the camera. Photo quality was very good for the most part. Sony gives you a big 'ol plastic lens cap (with retaining strap) to protect that monstrous lens. Barrel distortion was fairly mild at the wide-angle end of the DSC-H5's lens. Even with a few flaws, the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H5 is still one of the best ultra zoom cameras on the market. Focus times are quick, shutter lag was not an issue,... *
